In a sense, it is. But you can not call it absolutely free. If you act as an investor, you are taking a risk, and it can not always be justified. If you are a member of the bounty, you are wasting your time and resources. This is in a sense similar to work for hire

I fully agree with the statement that the ICO is a new way to earn money, because I already tested it and tested it, it really works, but there is certainly a great risk to lose all of my funds, so you have to be ready for it
Ya there is lots of fake ico running on the web, so be skeptical while investing on it, check the team background , their project, also google team profile picture to check whether its legit or not
Yeah, I think so, many scammers are now trying to create their own ICO projects to get investment from people and will suddenly runaway. I am not generalizing all of them, there are still few that has good intentions.

In my case, yes it is the easiest way for me to get my fortune. I didn't invest any amount but Ialready earn some money from working in crypto. It was such a good way for us to be part of it. Such a big help for all of us.

Yes it is a fact! Ico is the easiest step if you wanted to get and earn free money, but make sure that you really understand the circumstances in trading if you want to be part of the market. There are lots and lots of people now who knew about cryptocurrencies. No doubt that there are many people who became millionaires only by participating in ICOs.
First of all it is not a free money. You have to work in the forum. You can earn by home that's matter here. All ico's are not get success if may get succeeded then you can earn money almost people do fake ico's so be attentive when selecting a campaign.
It's not completely free though because we also need to work for it such posting in this forum, tweeting and post in twitter and facebook, translating and many else. If you talk about free money, i think airdrop is the answer because you only need fill the form to join the airdrop.
Yes it is a fact considering for a legit ICO. You can participate in their bounty and you will be paid using their tokens soon as the ICO ends. Those tokens that you received from them as payment of your labor will then be traded to bitcoin or eth which then be converted to money.
ICO for me is a quick investment makes the rich and also poor, depending on luck in choosing ico.

Most ICO projects are a ponzi scheme, which I agree with, but there are also some ICO projects that do have its role, which is undeniable.
Though all ICO's are not good and I wouldn't say that all ICO devs have bad motives, but the ones that do will obviously take their earnings and eject. For earning free money from ICO, One simply need to do some good research, keep a good communication bridge between the ICO's team befor investing. ICO can make you free money just by following the rules indicated on how to join their Airdrop or bounty campaign.
Golem seems really solid - nice that a few of these ICO's have an actual good product.
ICOs are a novel and still developing form of capital raising. For legitimate projects ICOs are a great alternative to traditional VC funding due to flexibility and not giving up equity ownership. The money does not come for free. The team needs to execute the project and keep token holders happy. I have never come across a fake ICO where the founders ran away with the money. If those are the ones you are seeing, you are not researching properly beforehand. Should be able to tell if the team is allstar from google searches, Linkedin etc.
