Frankly speaking you cant. Just in the past month two ICOs got hacked and lost the KYC documents submitted by their users. Now think about your personal documents getting hacked and getting into the hands of criminals. Also most of the ICOs launched last year have failed and this years ICO condition is far worse than last year.

Failed ICOs this year are mainly because the market is not really performing well. Last year was a good year for crypto especially during the first half as altcoin market went really bullish and it includes altcoin ICOs.

There's no way to find a legit ICO, it depends mostly on your luck. The best you can do is to look at the ICO's team and their experience, try to find them on LinkedIn or Rocketreach. Also read their whitepaper and decide if their idea is good. Moreover check ICO rating on icobench and icostats

That is true, but there are still some ways to avoid obvious scams, for example, too big hardcap or fake team member information are easy to be scams. Also, you can check if it is hot in telegram by keep an eye on the telegram channel.

we still have legitimate ico..study them don't just rush into it

What I know may be difficult to determine which ICO is legitimate and which should not be before investing in ICO we must join the existing ICO program, and we have to read whitepepper to see the project, the team and its development and maybe you should be careful with the ICO anonymous so we are not trapped by the ICO Scam

Here is lot of iCO. How i find legit ICO.

To be frank investing in the ICO is like hog in cog! They could be best investment over the time or they could be just dust from thin air. You have to know the reality that ICO projects are always started with some visions up front and some planning for the products and services. However, it is very rare (now a days) that you will see each and every ICO making it upto the finish line. Sometime it is scam teams but sometimes it is we or people who do not support many of the project in long run due to X reasons. Things like that interfere with the ICO a lot and make it worse over the time.

However, legit ICO finding being pain in the ass you can always look after the forum announcement thread and what people there in have to say about it. If you see the positive overviews then you are good to go and if you dont then just forget about it.
In this case determine the legit of Ico by looking at what the purpose of this project is and how the team is behind the project and most importantly how much support it has from traders, investors or the public and do their background checks so you can invest safely

The insanity associated with the ICO market has been unprecedented lately. Scammers also took advantage of this insanity by creating a fake ICO. Fake ICOs are not at all easy to detect, as some consider them legitimate. When choosing ICO it is worthwhile to focus on evidence of approval and participation of authoritative figures, as well as the existence of a legitimate team. The description is also one of the approaches to determine if the company has a clear plan and idea. Of course, some ICOs are not fraudulent and are legal, but many still remain a trap and should be avoided.

No right way to find out legit ICO. Most important factor to avoid scam - it is to investigate team of the project and try to contact with team members via independent contacts. Don't use contacts on ICO site, because it could be part of scam scheme. If you are have confirmation that team members are real and you trust to this people - it is good ICO for investments!
yea you are right . I also aggred with you.it is the best way to know about the ico by contacting them via independent. And we should more learn about the project in order to find a legit ico.

Just find a good ICO that have a good team of advisors and a good concept that will surely be successful. Not all ICO's are scam. You can try NTOK, NYNJA and Abyss for instance.

This is a problem that has caused some difficulties for investors. ICO projects appear more and more, but not all are legit and have good development. There are many projects that have been found to have cheated investors. We should thoroughly investigate the ICO projects before investing, look at their goals, their road map and development plans, check the team and its supporters community. However, I think the above steps only help in part, it is difficult to know whether the project is legit or not.

i think you can determine the legit Ico by looking to the purpose of the project and the team behind that project and if they reveal their identity or not and of course by looking also into the community and how many support does it have from the community and i advise you to look for the bountyhive platform these people don't just register any ico on there platform they do a background check first they you can invest and your are safe

There is no single rule that can be used to determine whether it is legal. There are many countries that monitor ICOs as long as they can avoid this part of the risk.
