Since the market is so bad now I'd say its just better to avoid all ICOs for now ,start looking forward to next year maybe things will turn around ,even as a bounty hunter I might just stop taking part in one for now,this is why I still prefer coins than tokens ,erc20 tokens just suck big in this area and nothing can be done about it , I prefer normal coins than icos

At least, projects are not running away with your money. I have noticed that anything that do not favour some people is tagged as scam. Nobody forces you to invest, you invest out of your own volition and I am sure you are aware of the risk!

To be honest, I felt some uneasiness about the ICO model from the beginning, because ICO lacks effective supervision. In my experience, any lack of supervision will eventually become a pond for scammers, but I did not think ICO died so fast, I thought ICO had at least 2-3 years of life.

Atleast they are returning so we don't have to call it as scam.

They didn't collect the ethereum based on USD value,they are just returning the ethereum how much you send them before in crypto 1 ETH =  1 ETH always.

Refunding also now part of scam only .Just think about math .If i send 200 usd to some ico they will do trade they will buy eth 90 USD means they will get 2.2 Eth . If they refund we will get same amount of coin but price value is very less.

Very sad and such actions are very detrimental to investors, developers are also very unprofessional and inconsistent. Therefore they will eliminate investor confidence and may worsen ICO credibility. I think all the developers of the project must be marked, so that they will not be trusted by the entire crypto community.

So how is the bounty hunter reacting to such project and to the team?

Its likely to happen when projects has no product to show to the investors. This is why the SEC is pursuing to regulate this industry because of these teams. They make it looks like they aren't scamming because they are refunding.  Feel sorry, I have seen users promoting Vanig in our local section.

You accept the risks when you're investing in an ICO. Any kinds of scam are just scam and you lose your money, ICO is like that. I hope next year with the widely adoption of STO will reduce scam projects and it will protect investors better.

That is part of investments, you could buy at lower price, invest and get higher value when crypto market goes up and vice versa. People should know the risks before investing their hard earned money. That is the sad reality today specially when market is falling

Thats why everyone needs to be more careful on investing on an ICO, this year there are more scam ICO's than the legit one if everyone will just be careful on what they are promoting or where do they invest there will be 0% of people get scammed and if there is no one to be scammed those crazy bastards that make scam ICO's will be tired and stop what they are doing.

When you got an ICO investment have stop or paused you can try joined and invest at other ICO, never joining an ICO investment or bounty campaign have paused or stop because never continue for selling their ICO coin investment.

It's really painful that despite the trust that was given to them. They decided to pay back in this way. It's really not funny loosing your hard earned money. Many at times, I often wonder what goes in the heart of those scammers.  They are so very heartless. One way or the other,  this their get rich quick syndrome would catch up with them and they would pay for the menaces they have caused. There is a need to sanitize the blockchain system. There is a need to get credible and reliable review/police system. I have often think about creating or inventing that.  A system that cannot be bought. A system that gives the people the much desired justice and protection in the system to rid it of scammers.  That way,  people would be saved from a lot of scam related problems.  I myself have been scammed and I know how it felt like. I encountered that problem in one fake crypto based casino. I wasn't happy about it until I was able to get a good one which I use till date. . From their bonuses,  if you can bet well, you should make good profits. Create a winning strategy. Maybe, sure odds with large stake on any reputable and good online crypto based casino,  maybe vegascasino. They are good. They exist as an online betting platform with limitless and unending bounds in casino betting. With that, there is still some happiness and hope left that most people on the system are not scammers but some few who are not good people. Therefore, We should work together to discourage scammers and encourage good projects and platforms

First of, maybe Im too lazy to search for those project to find out if they're scam. So can you at least give proofs?
1. ICO being stopped or paused basically due to this kind of market wherein people are afraid to invest or they're holding since they've lost too much
2. Probably they might got those contributions in that amount but it doesn't mean that they waited this long (eth @less than 100) to process a refund but what if it went up? Unless they already sold it before into usdt,  again proofs?
3. I agree with this but still there's a possiblity that it is still because of bear market wherein if they got lets say eth @300 and now since it is cheap they cannot pursue since they're holding small amount.

That's true and a sad reality, you bought eth at a much higher price and get a refund 10 to 15% lower, the value of Eth this will get investors thinking if this is the right time to invest, because the market is very bearish and ICO are the ones getting harm by this bearish market.

Better to avoid most of the ICO nowadays since there is just a bearish signal everywhere so you won't get scammed. 

Hai guys now days people are really  depressed this kind of new scam .They are Lost lot amount from this kind of format and getting only 40% return back.


1) ICO Stopped or Paused

2) Refund - When  eth more 200 to 300 USD people invested some ICO now they are stopped and started refund now Eth price 95 USD .

3) Some ICO announced Soft cap reached successfully later their also follow this kind of refund method .
