To buy later is much safer than ICOs. Also you don't need to pass KYC. However some ICO's are offering good discounts and bonuses on presale and it can be more profitably

I invested in 12 ICOs, 7 of them had a higher price after the listing on exchange and didn't fall below the ICO price anymore.
Unfortunately, 5 of them dropped to 1/3 of the ICO price. And they are still below the ICO price.

Sometimes even deep research doesn't help. Some ICOs are overvalued at the beginning.

I saw the prospect of MTC coin success. In less than a month, there were 3,000 participants. Fast forward, otherwise you will end up, and you will regret it.

ico is better to buy whereas exchange the price gets dumped and we cant completely rely on pricing but whereas in ICO we get lowest price available for a particular token

I once bought and followed the ICO and it was difficult when we got the trading site the price would rise from the ICO price, I have done this test and I think after I test it better buy it cheap when entering on the trading site

50% It is almost impossible, i have participated in more than ten icos til now, and it only happened on 2 out of them, but the price was much affected by an airdrop that the team decided to do a few days before the end of the ICO.

It depend on each ICO project. If it's a good ICO project, you'd better buy from ICO and privatesale is the best cause you can get the lowest price at this period. But if you miss the crowdsale, don't worry you can buy token with ICO price on exchange like ETD or Folkdelta. But if it's not a really good ICO project, you just need to wait until the price of token listed on exchange and dumped to under ICO price Smiley). But at downward trend time like the early of this year, you can collect a lot of good tokens from good projects with very cheap price under ICO price Cheesy

that thing won't work this days because right now we are seeing a lot of dumpage happened when the ICOs hit the exchange.
so the best way to do it is by buying it when it hits the exchange.
usually the price will goes down for more than 50% when it hits the exchange,it happened many times before because of bounty.
compared to buy it when it's on sale,we will get more than what we will get when we are participating the crowdsale right ?

In a falling market it was very difficult to find a worthy project for investment. That's why I bought coins on the exchange. But in the growing market there are many promising projects.

It's actual for not-hyped projects, but when it comes to tier 1 things, you'd probably won't be able to grab them cheaper than ICO.

you think that good projects have a beginning only at the beginning of the new year? One can cite an example of such a project as Aragon, which began as early as the autumn of 2017 and ended in early 2018.

How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on exchanges right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/future-of-privacy-ethereum-meta-foundation-of-anonymous-e-marketplace-2659058

I would highly suggest skipping the ICO part and invest in THUG, they have no ico and yet they are available in the exchanges, you can either buy THUGS or Get some for free on their weekly Airdrops, highly recommended if u want to make profit😊😊😊

It completely depends on the ICO because if you good ICO and has the ability to increase the prices when they list in exchanges, then start buying them in the ICO itself because you might get some higher Bonus. If you don't any positive feedback about the ICO then better stay away from ICO and start verifying when they list in the exchanges.

Buying coin during their ico is more profitable than buy after the ico. You can also get a bonuses while the ico is airing. But make sure that their project looks awesome and you think that they earn too much with their project. Research carefully before buying.

This changes project to project, for example project is good but there is not much hype and at bear market, it drops under ico price. But if there is big hype it is not matter bear or bull market, price can do x3 x5 from ico prices.

One factor during ICO stage is that you can receive a bonus token but you will never know if the price will progress once it is already in exchange.  One reason why the price fall is, some bounty hunters instantly dumped their token once they received it.  But don't be disappointed with this because there's also a big chance for increase.  Some investors who are not qualified to be whitelisted but still interested specially if the coin really has a potential.  They won't lose this chance to buy because they truly believe that it will generate a big profit.  Actually you can do this both.  It doesn't required a limit anyway.

look at what happened after the Electroneum ICO ended..they locked up all the ICO coins and only let the devs and miners cash out... this is why exchanges are the best way.

If you buy from ICO and ICO is successful you have a very high chance that you make profit right after exchange phase. But you can also find a project that is not successful in ICO and fall down in exchange.

i prefer to take lateron exchanges, especiallyfrom last icosi lost more than 10 ethereum.

please analyze carefully projects.
