You cannot purchase ICNP directly. When buying ICN, you are basically buying ICNP in return. This is because 20% of the ICNP return is going towards buybacks and burning of ICN coins and the other 80% is for reinvestment in other ICOs to get more profits. So if you owe 10% of total ICN coins, well basically you owns 10% of ICNP + all the other fees which is generated on ICNX

The price was expexted to go up with platform available to all investors but opposite has happened.Its going down.I think its price is dependent on eth price.Evrytime eth is down,icn also down

The token itself will be used for certain operations on the platform in the future. Other than that the biggest benefit is the fact that they are buying back and destroying tokens using the profits from the platform, meaning its price will go high as hell because supply and demand.

Is there any benefit from holding the coin? I see there are no stakes/mining/masternodes, so what does it actually benefit for the user for just holding it?

BTW imagine how happy must Kraken be with how all this went out. They have one of the top 20 coins which was even arount top 10 a few months back, almost all of the market cap of the token is there. Bittrex and Poloniex should already be hanging their heads in shame for missing out on this.

Guys, be careful when investing in ICOs. If you send you ICN tokens to ICO Smart Contract that does not accept tokens that means your funds are lost and the team cannot retrieve them.

For example this guy bellow tried to invest into another Slovenian ICO SunContract that is building decentralized energy trading platform. Maybe his confusion was that both projects will have similar-kind of platform but Iconomi is in financial sector whereas SunContract is in energy sector. Funds will remain in Smart Contract probably forever, team told us that they cannot retrieve them

I don't think so, it wouldn't be smart to only invest into projects that will be supported by CFI, but CFI is truly a good indicator to see if a project is legit and to get an inside track on what is happening behind the scenes.
