This is a very extreme investment model. You can't invest all your money in only one cryptocurrency. This will increase your investment risk. If I want to choose only one coin investment, then I will choose the BTC.

I do not think putting faith in an altcoin is the best idea. If only one type of investment is required, it can only be bitcoin. If altcoin investment should invest some altcoin to avoid risks. I think I should buy but under $ 1 like xrp, ada, xlm if you intend to hold long. The short-term is difficult to predict, may altcoins will drop sharply before can grow again.

Ethereum is not a bad choice since it has the chance to grow at a slighter faster pace than bitcoin and it is still a very secure coin, but ethereum is not a coin that I will personally hold for the long term and my reason for that is simple, there is a big amount of competition coming against ethereum and while bitcoin has demonstrated extensively that it can deal with the pressure of other coins ethereum has yet to show the same and that is why I do not trust in ethereum as a coin to hold for the long term. The thing that you should observe more closely than any other variable gives about a coin before you choose to invest in it is the past history, the purpose of that coin to be existing and of course the past performance of the coin

why spend money for just 1 coin, is not investment in some coins will give a better profit. I think if to invest in 1 coin maybe I will buy bitcoin, because there is no history bitcoin become weak, and to spend our money yes only bitcoin worth investing.

As for me, it would be ethereum. ETH has already prove its value and so many tokens based on erc-20 standard, so it won't crash in one day.

It's not like the movies where someone goes all in on one thing and then wins big.
That's more like gambling, and how many people actually "win big" in gambling?
There are more reasons to spread out your portfolio instead of just lowering risks though.
A big part of it is hedging assets against each other.
This is important so you can get maximum benefit from a certain type of asset.
For example, it's not like just going all in on google stock back in the 90s was the way to go.
In reality, it would be better to have both google and amazon.
Same prinicipal applies to crypto as well.
Diversification is a way to protect yourself from losing catastrophically and not a way to make money, if you want to make a substantial amount of money fast in a market then you need to go all in when you buy a coin, is this the best move? No, but it is the one that can give the greatest profits if you select the right coin, and also it can be a very conservative move if you select bitcoin as the coin in which you invest all your money since the chances that bitcoin disappears overnight are zero. Question of course interesting. I'd put a coin in the exchange Binance. It is very promising as the exchange itself! Over the year, the price has increased tenfold and I have no doubt that will continue to grow!
