you will see the benefit of investing in btc, but the profit you get may not satisfy you, so the ones like ltc and neo are better.
now the crypto market has a lot of altcoin development, but picking out the safe and good altcoin, develop in the future i think it is eth. I will invest $ 500 in ETH because it's a very well-used platform, widely used and popular, I hope it will soon recover and thrive in the future and be a high value altcoin. .
I would keep my 500$ in btc and eth only right now.

Altcoins, especially Ethereum, seem to be the most logical. It is not an investment as high as $ 500 Bitcoin, it can be converted to Bitcoine with some profit from other Crypto coins.

I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.
The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.
I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

If you are talking for someday I would go for other altcoins which has a low market cap that can be really huge in the future. Bitcoin and Ethereum was really good but you can't get a big profit with them if you will not invest a really big money on them.

If I have $500 I'm going to invest it to bitcoin and I'm buying at dip. And with the price of bitcoin it's hard to cope up as there will always be a major pump and minor dump.
this is very simple if we are connected with btc then we better know where we should invest for sure i will invest in btc because this is good time to invest there people are little worry about the btc price some people are making some changes that is i got some news but will suggest to the people which is very must to spread keep hold and just wait for the right and after some u can get the good profit.
Now is good time to buy for long term investment all crypto almost -80% corrected from previous high so we near bottom. Buy when everyone afraid and sell when everyone confident in price

500 is quite low if I have more money I will definitely go for BTC, with 500 I would like to create a portfolio comprising of ETH, BTG, Ripple and some Monero. I never put all my eggs in one basket

I would choose to buy ethereum for at the moment it's price is on red color almost exact 300$. Then the 200$ dollars I would but some top 20 altcoins in the market that have bright future in the years to come.

If it were up to me, I would make better choices and pick the safest currencies. With $500 you can make a very good and
smart investment out of it, basically it all comes down in acquiring the ones that would safely ensure or offer better chances
of growth. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best ones to invest in, Bitcoin maybe very volatile but it's prices is very appealing
and it's moves around faster compared to the others. Ethereum is a very solid currency, it's remarkable services and growth
is all but propitious. Though I think you should wait for a red day and split it on these two and your good to go.

In my opinion bitcoin shows a bad statics. The jumps in the price of this currency really scare me! Recently, I often look at neo! I would have invested money here!
