you have definitely chosen the wrong time to invest. I do not recommend you to join any altcoin or coin or whatever at this time. all the altcoins that have be to die, and in that case I certainly can not recommend getting anything. the process is very painful for all projects and tokens and coins. For that reason I certainly recommend you wait. I hope in the new year everything will be even better. but if you are still waiting for a while, maybe you can take a few coin or tokens to be valued in the future.

Stratis seems to be that i will add the investment portion if i still have $500. Because, this altcoin is very cheap in market. I feel can make good profit from speculating with him.

I think you're correct Re: BTC. Difficulty is just moving too damn fast. I think I might buy another (or 2) 1070s to work on the smaller coins and buy more BTC after (hopefully) SegW.

It is likely that I would invest in Monero. Seeing that the coin has a market capital of 3 billion dollars and a potential to cross the price of $300 per annum, Monero would be my preferred choice. Also Monero provides privacy in its transactions by making them completely anonymous. Its development roadmap also looks promising. So I am expecting good amount of worth from it.
I would invest a little bit on everything. I mean that i will spend my money on bitcoin first because that is the main coin. I would also spend some money to ETH and DENT.
I think they have a great potential. DENT is now cheap so i would surely buy a lot of that coin.

Right now? I would go all Ethereum to be honest. I would invest on bitcoin but bitcoin might crash a bit at the end of the year

Ans seem like this is not over yet so best is to buy price will go up more then current one is at the moment.
500$ will be invested on ETH, for me it is still the safest. ETH is second to BTC but its price is affordable to invest with. But there are other alcoins worth investing now such as monero, litevoin, electroneum. But you need to do your research on other cryptos you to find those with good records and reputation.
