Looks like people are letting him off the hook  Roll Eyes

Imagine if a bank did this ...

I don't think people are "letting him off the hook". It's rather the fact that it's out of our control and we hope that the authorities can get to the bottom of it. Hopefully, getting this resolved. However, the likely hood of that is near enough impossible. Unless, TF what's to be the good guy and help repay for x amount of years.

If we could do something. We would.

A question for those who had a balance on Inputs. Are the refunds you are getting partial or total? I had money on CoinLenders instead, but at least that should give some insight as of what to expect whenever I get refunded.  Undecided

Partial. Thankfully I didn't have much, and I received about 75% of my funds back.

link?  Roll Eyes

Link to what? It's already well known that he has only been doing partial refunds. Even, though he has been asking for identification for that to happen. Unless, he has now suddenly changed his mind. Which I highly doubt. I think we have all come to the conclusion that we have lost our Bitcoin and TF certainly isn't dealing with it with the most professional manner.

a link to this payment ? blockchain link? ..what do you think... Roll Eyes

Edit: Nevermind about the questions, he sent me an email addressing them very thoroughly. Will update my thread.

i told you guys: have a line to him ~ what do you want me to do? LOL  Cool

On the off chance you're not trolling... I would love for you to give me his contact information. Otherwise, could you have him answer these questions?

1.) When did you first notice that the hot wallet was empty?

2.) How and when did you first realize your Linode administrative account was reset?

3.) Could you post the password reset logs for your Linode administrative console, and tell Linode employees that they may verify them for whoever asks?

4.) Do you have, and could you post, the logs of what the hacker did while he was logged into the Linode administrative console?

5.) Were the logins from 101.0.79.18 into your Linode administrative console, that you posted, the only time the hacker accessed it?

ok i just saw this post right now, these are some very technical questions. Where are you getting all this from? Honestly what is pressing him on these issues going to prove? ..and then what?~ i'll see what i can do.

What annoys me now. Is although being active is not responding to anyone. Not responding to emails or here at the forum. That makes me more suspicious than ever.
More than when he stole 4100 BTC, more than when he arbitrarlily closed down coinlenders, containing user's money?

i guess as a guest, he can't go to the last post he read in all his threads.  Tongue  i imagine he wants to stick around and gauge how the community is viewing him and what his creditors might do legally. what happened with the update about CL? never happened, right?

Nothing has been announced as far as I'm aware. Although, I haven't been following that side. Go check the official thread. I at least thought he would be defending himself. But, he seems to just be looking at this thread and leaving it be.

It seems after the asking of the identification he simply wanted to ignore everyone because they were appealing against supplying their id to a suspected scammer.

Something about hacked email addresses, blah, blah, blah......
If he genuinely believes that, then he doesn't understand anything about security (well the Security part of the FAQ gave it away a bit).
First, you don't need to hack anything to send an e-mail as another user and thus should at least do a verification that the user can receive the mail. But really, it could be much simpler to reuse the data already provided to inputs.io...
didn't he say that passwords were not compromised? isn't that something that could be used to verify the original owner of the accounts? this ID stuff is total nonsense.

That's true. But, he's never going to allow that because he just wants our money.

I still haven't seen where TF has announced that he needs ID, apart from one or maybe two people claiming he asked them.

Can someone please post a link to the source?
I'm a bit lazy to search his posts at the moment, but if you take a look, I recall him actually commenting about why he implemented this policy. Something about hacked email addresses, blah, blah, blah......

He's asking through email when people are asking to withdraw. I don't think there is a post stating this. Although, what people are claiming is correct information. He is asking for identification although no id was linked to the account in the first place. Therefore not proving anything.
