Most of them aim to call for investment to develop the project but besides that many projects do not call for capital but only distribute their token free through Airdrop programs and bounty. This leads to competition and attracts different users. Do you think free or investment projects will last longer?
I don`t think investment or airdrop programs will and also bounty is not free, people are working for bounty rewards. As long as many people are willing to earn and get profit, ICOs and bounty programs will not end because the demand for new potential coins are always there.

The longevity of a token depends on it utility and acceptability there are so many coin that give out tokens in they airdrop programs and at the end never make it to exchange not even to talk of it surviving in the competitive market, and also airdrop is just a way of promoting new coin to the general public in other to draw they attention and have nothing to do with the success of the token likewise investment also their both have nothing to do with the success of the token but when a project have potentials then it will live longer in the market.
Both are good.
I suggest you before investing in some projects make your proper homework.

I think it will stay last longer than we know and maybe it will change the form but with the same purposes. this is what I see from the past and it already happens over and over. maybe in the future, there are many other free programs and paid program like now but like I said before, the goals are same as now so we don't have to amaze with something new in the future. but I am sure that in the future, there will be one or two programs that will different than the other and this program will stay for a long time.
most successful projects can attract investors to invest in them, because every investor who wants to participate in project development must first understand the project's future goals, but it all depends on the team involved. the work of a strong professional team is able to push the project to be more successful in the future, if we can already understand the future goals of the project, there is nothing wrong if we try to invest in it

Even if it is a funded project or a crowd funded project this will last longer if it has have a good and usable platform especially if it is very applicable to our society , I'm sure this coin have a bright future .
Yeah. I think the rewards will need to go up though as ICOs are taking a lot longer now and the payouts are less.
I prefer to be free to work as a bounty hunter and while studying in this forum, and if I have made a profit and money from the bounty I will invest half of the bounty
Everything depends on the project itself and its perspectivity. There are projects that absolutely do not develop and stand still. Then simply there are no prospects and exactly how the coin goes to the market does not matter. Let it be Airdrop or bounty, or investment of investors. Only those projects are promising that will be able to work in the market and bring their coin popularity. Soon there will be so many coins and projects that are repeated, which will be very difficult to break into the market.
Mostly those free coins does not holds any value, you'll never get anything from those coins. Better invest for best outcome.
I don't agree with you at all.You say that coins have no value and nothing can be obtained from them...Well, that's not true!If there was no value and opportunity to make money on Airdrop and Bounty, then people would not sit here and do not waste your time!In fact, you can earn here!From the investment of course more profit and benefit,but only if you are already an experienced user in this market,and for those who are just mastering this market is quite suitable to participate in Airdrop. 
Free of course! Free means you will not lose anything except your time. Investment sometimes is too risky for me so yes I prefer free.
Depends on what do you mean by "win". If you think value of a coin matters, then isn't the answer obvious? Coins that are given for free (through air drops and other ways) will actually have lower value than other coins. This is because the coins were given for free and people eventually dumps them. More over, supply of such coins are also higher. But value does not define the success of a coin. It is the feature and the community which will allow them to survive the market. So coins bought through investment or given out free, both may be successful.
Well between investment and free this has to do with if you are financially buoyant. Well it always better to invest because you get a greater value than those getting it free but if you don't have capital you can always hope for free
For me, Investing is more profitable. It is very risky but I will take the risk cause market is not always falling.. Ican never tell maybe I ca hit the jackpot to my investment.. investing makes me very patient..

Investment has some risk yes but airdrops doesn't really seems to be worth it I mean you could gain some but it would only be a few dollars .

Ti my mind investmetns wil be more far-sighted in the case of the reliability and it is like an insurance from the wrong results or from losses in money, why not.
You should definitely try to take advantage of as many free offers if you can if time permits. Don't invest if you can get soething for less effort than it takes you to earn the money you would otherwise use to pay for that same thing. If you are from a less economically developed country then itwold probably be better for you to just go for the free options like bounties and airdrops as there are often minimum investment levels that are hard to match
I prefer to invest rather than get coins for free, because most free coins are shitcoins for pumping and dumping schemes, and I also realize that free coins cannot last long.
