help please....made withdrawal from new html wallet...generated txid and balance in html wallet was reduced.  receiving address has not received and txid does not show up in block explorer..

We are not going to pay for PR firms or any other promotional activities outside our own promotional giveaway's
Attending events is easy said than done. Events are all around the world and mostly not even in de neighborhood of the team members.
Secondly im not sure if attending these events will help us in any way (right now).
And as you are aware, we pay everything by ourselves. So flying around the world to attend meetings is just not possible.

The community must do what they think is right to promote IOC that will not harm IOC, the team or any other coin / community in any way.

We deliver many projects for the community. We create places for them to get together and discuss promotional events or other stuff.
If there are some nice ideas that can help IOC in the long run - and not just pump up a price for a week - then we would love to hear the ideas. iocoinhub.io is a good place to start discussing these ideas with the registered community.

The main responsibility and focus of the team is DIONS developments for now.
These developments will promote themselves when the time is right or other means of PR suddenly become possible when IOC has the focus of newly interested media or people.

I agree with you that we are developing one of the best Blockchains there is. Thanks for your support.

Great news! This coin just keep on delivering! Can't belive it's still sub 10k sat.

We are very excited to announce that integration of the key value functions are looking good.  We will continue on it over the weekend and it looks like by Wednesday or Thursday of this coming week, a 1st candidate DIONS will be ready for beta testing. Conservation of Mangroves

It will be held on monday, 22 march 2015.
We will spend the day cleaning the beach of waste that gets washed up on shore and plant 300 mangroves and 100 pines around the beach to help with conservation which is very important.

We already have 100 pine trees and 100 mangroves that people have made donations for and right now still need 200 mangrove trees. 1 tree only costs $1.

We make this event because the abrasion on kuwaru and baru beaches are so fast and we want to stop it and mangroves are ideal for this for more info please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mangrove.

Mangrove swamps protect coastal areas from erosion, storm surge (especially during hurricanes), and tsunamis. The mangroves' massive root systems are efficient at dissipating wave energy.] Likewise, they slow down tidal water enough so its sediment is deposited as the tide comes in, leaving all except fine particles when the tide ebbs. In this way, mangroves build their own environments.
Because of the uniqueness of mangrove ecosystems and the protection against erosion they provide, they are often the object of conservation programs, including national biodiversity action plans.

As i am the team leader for I/OCoin Indonesia this will also be a fantastic way to show how our Digital Currency is helping to make the world a better place.

I will use the official I/OCoin Banner and help spread the word of I/OCoin while giving back to the community and the world we live in.

Most of you have seen the iocoinworld.io website. We had the idea that iocoinworld.io would be our main community website for communications with the community. All features like in iocoinhub had to be custom made from scratch if we wanted that in the world website. But as time moves forward, you sometimes see alternatives that are just better and faster available than you can code.

Iocoinworld will not be lost. We will integrate the map into this community site and change the perspective on the usage of iocoinworld. We would love to show people where our supporters are in this small world. So, in the meantime we will focus on development of I/OCoin HUB and integration of iocoinworld worldmap somehow. Its nice to have you here. Its good that you are staking. Helps the network and helps to get some more IOC's extra.
DIONS is a pretty heavy investment in time and $. If DIONS is done, this opens a lot, i mean really a lot, possible opportunities.
We expect third party projects to be made on top of the IOC Blockchain. That will make IOC more valuable.
What is next? We have a few ideas now and fellow community members has also brought up lots of nice ones.

We have to discuss these ideas with the team and will also listen to other good ideas of course.
You can - if you are not already - join us in Slack chat to talk about future ideas.

One thing is for sure, after DIONS is done we open up a universe of possibilities to develop. Not only our development team, but also external teams.

What will be done after this dions is made?    You are putting in much work, i hope it helps for the future of this coin.

This week we found out that the pos blocks generated by the transactions contained some data corruption, which was the most probable cause of our prior problems. The transaction data that appeared to contain some corruption, may have been related to the boost libraries. Once we understood the cause of the problems we continued on with debugging. We finally had block txs and blocks broadcasted and accepted among peers on our testnet, so this is now a good start : even though there were no configuration of parameters, eg. blocks to expiry and no special tx fee’s, we had end to end testing working, which made it much easier to proceed and refine the data key value pair storage. Today we've been working on the completion of the basic op register and update calls. Now that the basic data insertion works, we are now thinking about the block expiry parameters and tx fee logic.  Over the weekend we will be  looking at the completion of the basic register and update and block expiry parameter.

Glad it worked for you. And yes, you are right about the unlocked HTML5 wallet to enable staking.
This is something we have on our wishlist for the future. Is not so easy to achieve i hear from the devs because of limitations.
But, it has our attention.

Got my wallet staking!  I downloaded the QT wallet after reading posts about the differences between html5 and qt.
I choose the QT over html5 simply due to the fact the wallet remains locked while staking, i believe the html5 wallet stays unlocked when staking?
Anyhow, the QT wallet was easy to stake, i simply clicked on Settings, then Unlock wallet 

Now it is nice to see a extra coin appear in my wallet each day. Really happy to have bought this digital currency as my first investment, looking forward to learning more.
