Mr Whitebites,

I just sent the  .05 btc I pledged for the signature, can't wait to wear it. again thanks for taking the lead on this.

in the mean time I added ioc avatar (did I go overboard adding dropshadow)

is there a way to add a hyperlink to that?

Thank you kindly! Received your donation, a BIG thanks.   I hope the Dev team here will also add the signature, i am sure they will.

Also, great work on the logo. I simply went to your profile here and then right click, copy, logo and it looks great!  Thanks for that also.

Lets get as many people as we can uploaded the avatar and proudly display the signature when it arrives in approx 2 days.

UPDATE: Logo needed quite a few tweaks / reworking. But looking good now. Should be ready by tomorrow and then we can get the community to tweak it further if needed.

is that for someone to develop the code or does the forum have a fee?
never gave thought to how they worked and or the intricacies or complexities involved.
thanks

Hi Cohnhead,

No, thats the flat fee the person who designs the code charges, its too much for me,
so i have asked to see if it can be cheaper. So will update when i know more.

UPDATE: 0.2btc for all signatures lowest price they will go.

so i will have a think on it.
not sure if rate is any cheaper in regards to usd fiat than it was before brexit. ..lol
anyway...count me in for .05 btc

Thank you Cohnhead, your kindness will be repaid once IOC goes to good levels, send me a PM when we are at 30k sats and i will give you a nice reward.

Is there anyone else who can donate 0.05 ?  two more donations like this would be idea. plus my 0.05 = 0.2 and we can get this done!

UPDATE.  I was able to get a better price !  (must be my good looks and silver tongue)  Cheesy

So the total was 0.18 which i have now paid.     It would be great for anyone here who does not have or is involved with another signature campaign to wear the new I/OCoin one with pride!

Thanks to all.

RESULT:

The signature is going to cost me 0.25BTC around 150 euros....

Now, how many people here will actually use it? i dont want to spend 150 euro, if i am the only one going to use it.

The signature will help make more people aware of i/ocoin and considering other way to get noticed, 0.25btc is not bad.
It covers all levels of users also.

So please post here if you will use it,

Many Thanks.

I have to stand and applaud everything that is going on here with this project.

Been looking around at the ICO's, seeing the "disgusting" amount of money thrown at them and the absolute balls up they are making of launches, the likes of Lisk and now the total shambles that is Waves.

I/OCoin and I/O Digital have had only their own funds to take this coin forward and have NEVER not once, promised something and not delivered, it really is a strong testament to the integrity of the whole team here.

You wont see many teams like this, who are so dedicated and trustworthy in Crypto as we see with IOC.

Happy to invest in a solid project like this and hold long term, thats for sure.

Thank You, keep up the Outstanding work your guys are doing. :insert 2 big thumbs up here:

1- decentralized aliases, but now they have been upgraded to private (stealth) aliases
I am right in thinking NO other alt has this in crypto?

I love this project and think it has some very innovative features, but this is incorrect. NEM has decentralized aliases, and has had them for some time. Don't believe me? Send me some xem @kodaxx :p

Our aliases system is decentralized + encrypted + transferable .... The fact that some other project may or may not have a similar feature doesn't constitute it's better, more secure, free of bugs or be free of a potential hack.   Wink

Very Good News! Thank you Team.

Now what i think would be a really great idea. Create a simple side by side comparison of I/O Digitals features and developments against the top alts.

What i read here, the BIG ico's are promising to do, but still a long way from doing it, the likes of Waves and Lisk for example. So it would be really ideal, for people to have a quick comparison guide to easily see why IOC is the Smart investment Choice.

1- decentralized aliases, but now they have been upgraded to private (stealth) aliases
I am right in thinking NO other alt has this in crypto?

(take a look at Waves lite wallet/ap) everyone is raving about how great it is, but none of the features inside are working and they are still a long wya from developments, same developments as I/O Digital is close to releasing. You guys need to make people aware of this, be proud and make sure to let everyone know how good your developments are compared to these other BIG volume, BIG Bitcoin Eating ICO's.

2- Patent and Trademarks.
Meaning no crappy ICO can come along and clone all your hard work and investment?

3- Foundation.
Making I/ODigital a recognized company, which very few are in crypto.

1- decentralized aliases : probably correct that we are the only ones having that in operation

2- Patent and Trademarks : no, that has more to do with large companies wanting to use the patented idea of us and need to pay a license to use it. Inherently when its closed source others cannot copy and paste it. it is protecting our investment but also opens up possibilities to partner with others in a legit way. If they pay the license (if we go for the license model), then IOC will be supported in value as well.

3- Foundation: correct. We are in the final stages.

overall: making a chart comparing what we deliver against what others promise is fine by me. The core team only does not have any time on researching this. Everybody is most welcome to seek the differences and post it in a nice graphic. People asked us how we compare to LISK, ETH, Waves etc. That is a lot of research to do.

Thanks
Richard

Spot on Richard, Cheers.  Clears it up, for me and i am sure for other people.

I will see if i can put together something for comparison.  Canva is pretty useful for info graphics.

I/O COIN DEVELOPMENT UPDATE June 13th 2016

Hello Community we have been hard at work over the course of this last 2 weeks getting the code working just as we wanted, this to get the skeletal operations in place for the back end. We have now finally handed over to Ophie (Front End Developer) to start work on the front end. Today Ophie started to work on things like column text spilling over and the line in the name list, that needs to be arranged so that Aliases can be selected. Moving along we are to start back end api work on the messaging part of the wallet and once ophie is done with the aliases front end work he will begin messaging. As you all know we had in mind to do our decentralized aliases, but now they have been upgraded to private (stealth) aliases and they are working in the backend. This is a huge milestone as people will be able to keep the alias registration private.

On another note, we want to announce that Joel with the help of the entire team has been working on a Patent and Trademarks. Yes a patent and Trademarks. We have dubbed this project Codename "Sunrise". Joel has been working hard on an idea for a very long time for the future, to bring our blockchain to the people, specifically to use the ioc chain and chameleon. Richard will be filing for i-depot which is for securing the ideas in the BeNelux ( belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) which is also internationally recognized intellectual service.  More info will be available as soon as is patent pending. Joel will be meeting with his legal team in the next few weeks to submit. Also Foundation latest required paperwork is filed and we expect it to be final in june.

Thanks Everyone

Thank you for the update guys. Great move about having your intellectual property patented as there are many opportunistic patent hawks circling the blockchain space. Would be nice to have them registered on the IO chain once data storage is enabled.

Hi I/ODigital Team,

After spending time in the Waves forum, i am gutted we do not have a Signature for I/OCoin!

I "Borrowed" some code from the Waves signature to try and hack together an I/OCoin signature.  Not too bad, but would love the logo there also.
OOne link goes to the OP here and the other (smaller text) goes to the i/ digital website  Smiley

Is there anyone in the IOC team that could make nice signatures for the loyal supporters here.  So i can help promote IOC / IOD elsewhere.

Thank You.
good idea. Most coins have signature, usually they offer bounties and giveaways to ppl who use it

I too would use signature
