I downloaded new wallet 2.5.2 today and made the claim since I have not transitioned all the coins after 2.5.1 release. I provided the old and my new seed but the proof transaction is pending since a couple of hours. I've reattached four times. Do I need to change something else? I also changed minimum weight magnitude from 15 to 14 but without success. Any suggestions?

I love IOTA, but why such a high supply?

What do you mean? IOTA has just 30% more supply than Bitcoin...

I honestly can't understand how come that people who don't even get elementary school maths end up on this forum trading some of the most unpredictable assets in the financial world
+ just looking at coin supply (without the price) makes no sense anyway

The team is fantastic! I trust these guys)
WARNING be aware there's some Snapshot Recovery Tool circulating that allows you to watch your ballance at least it claims to do that.

It is of course wanting your online banking credentials   they keys to your frontdoor   your firstborn   your seed to accomplish that, in all honesty and glory.
That's probably the dumbest think to do since handing over your bitcoin private keys to some anonymous stranger.
The firstborn could be negotiable.
No, this seems to be even dumber than that, by the look of it.

I created new seed in the latest wallet version. I try to make login and the system says: seed is to long > 81
Anybody can help me, please?
I got same problem, i try to use reclaim tool but balance still zero.

The max length for a seed is 81 chars. Just use the first 81 chars of your seed if it is longer than 81.

For zero balance, read this - https://forum.helloiota.com/588/Help-My-IOTA-balance-is-zero-steps-to-help-you-find-your-balance-v252

3.
Q : Isnt there to much IOTA´s ? can the price reach 5000$ like bitcoin in 8 years?
A : let me explain this there are 2 100 000 000 000 000 bitcoins in total without the decimal in bitcoins, and we have 2 779 530 283 277 761
iotas without an decimal so The number of total iotas is not that high. lets look at etherium 92 663 393 000 000 000 000 000 000. just wow

to compare

                 IOTA Supply :           2 779 530 283 277 761
                 Bitcoin Supply :        2 100 000 000 000 000
                 Etherium Supply :    92 663 393 000 000 000 000 000 000

thats all for now peace out Smiley

Hi,

Can anyone confirm these numbers?

Thanks

Looks correct if we speak about total supply in the smallest units available (Bitcoin in Satoshis and Ether in Weis)

So how is this calculated if we take the main units circulating supply, not the secondary:

MIOTA Supply :        2,779,530,283
Bitcoin Supply :       16,647,887
Etherium Supply :    95,331,612

I am a MIOTA holder, but realistically there is no real option for the coin to get more that a few dollars at most. Even 50USD or 100USD per coin will make too many people trillionaires.
50 USD would be marketcap of BTC right now. I think if this vision will work out it will have a higher valuation. 50-100 USD is possible longterm

100 dollars is unlikely! Too high price. Maybe $ 10 is more real!
----
Did you see current price?

$0.435190 (-8.82%)
0.00007837 BTC (-7.11%)

I think about buying this coin. Is this price good enough to buy?

this is the best time to buy.
in my opinion all under 1usd is the best to enter the coin

a well known bitcoin trader predictet the price of iota to 338usd in 8 years for an MIOTA (cant find the article anyhow)
but in my opinion the price will be much higher than that.

I sure it will rise to a 100$ in a couple of years if there will not be some significant improvements of bitcoin or new competitive coins will apper.
