I really want know if getting more degrees can make life financially better because I come from a country where their are no job and I have seen people that the only thing they can do in life is to read books, getting more degrees attaining all these degrees yet no still go job for them with good pay. Do think people who read in a region with slim job opportunities are doing the right thing?
Getting a degree increase the chances of you getting a job thus, making your life better financially, but getting a degree doesn't mean you will get a job automatically. After all, you've said already that you've seen lots of graduates in your country who still don't have a job right now even though they graduated. That alone is I guess a proof that degree right now isn't as important as what it is decades ago when it comes to success in life.

You can still be a successful man even though you didn't even graduated from college. Attaining more degrees will not help them especially if they will not help themselves.

Most people who go for more degrees believe they can get better job at the end of the day. People that only go for more degrees in a stare with high unemployment rate are they doing right thing by putting all their focus on academic because this is the only thing they can do best.
This is the mindset of most of the people. More degrees = more jobs which is kind of true since you will have more opportunities. There are lots of opportunities out there. There are many jobs out there. They just need to find it.

Having good education means you're on the right track towards a better life. What gets valued is the skills, which means all the degrees you hold are mere qualification. Your skills are valued when you get into an organisation. Next thing important is being passionate about what you do. Even if you get into something by situation, over time try to love it. Automatically you can experience the best out of it. It is true there is lack of opportunities, and through education we should be able to prepare ourselves to find/create opportunity.

In simple words there is mutual need of education followed by skills, failure to have one of this will surely affect at some part of professional life.

Do think people who read in a region with slim job opportunities are doing the right thing?

What do you suggest they do? Be illiterate because they live in a country that has a failed economy? I disagree. Education is very important, how else would people build successful businesses and contracts without a formal education. At the end of the day, it is a personal choice. If you believe education isn’t the path you want to take in life, it’s your decision. But making that decision based on the belief that there is no job opportunity for graduates is something I cannot accept.

academic opens up opportunities for jobs, getting college degree means there's wider range of jobs that you can get than just having highschool diploma which already considered mediocre nowadays. even though degree also considered mediocre since quite literally everyone has it now.
even the amount of Phd out there are oustanding too.
but here's the thing, sometime some people just study pursuing academic degree solely without doing anything, not intending to apply for jobs at entry level to build up career, what they knew is just pursuing degree and thats it so when they graduated, they don't really know what to do, the key takeaway being, purse career while also studying and if you're into entrepreneurship then pursue skills.

Depends if you want to use it or not. There are so many people who do not mater what they studied, all because they think their graduation worths nothing. I am a literature major and ALL of my friends ended up doing unrelated work, they went to fields like sales, telecommunication, personal assistants, hostesses, teaching (which sort of makes sense), software engineering (studied again), and plenty of other fields. If you are going to do that, then don't study at all. But I kept it going, it took me nearly 10 years to earn something decent after graduation, but I am making good enough money now, probably more money than %90 of those people, because I kept working on my craft.

According to me, higher education is worthless if it is not of any practical use. When one gets higher education surely he can contribute something to the society from which the society or the country benefits. If education is taken for the purpose name and fame then that education will be worth less. Of course a highly educated person should give such an idea of how people can benefit from his education. We often see research by highly educated individuals of various kinds, some of which is good research that serves human welfare, and some of which has no value. It is not enough to hold a degree only, it must be fruitful.

In fact, not everyone who is highly educated manages to get a good job, there are also many who are unemployed because they are not lucky, there are also people who return to take higher education to be able to get a decent position in the company where they work. However, currently large companies prioritize people who have higher education working in their companies, it has become a requirement for them to filter out workers who are more competent than those who have no education at all.

degrees is important but the more important thing is skill, have many degrees but don't have skill is useless. I think if there is no opportunity to get a job or create a business in our country then it will be better if we can go to other countries. but I don't think that there is no opportunity to create a business, as long as there is a need from people then there is opportunity for businessman, also we live with internet now.

In fact, to be able to go to school to such a high level and get a degree does not require a small amount of money but a lot of money and a parent is even willing to sell their assets for the sake of a child so that they can go to school to a higher level to get a bachelor's degree.

However, after getting a bachelor's degree, can you change your life and become someone who is successful and able to return the capital spent while studying? which in reality is not the case and is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand, when we get a bachelor's degree then this is the beginning of a very long real life. The aim of being a scholar is not to become a successful person but to become a person who is able to think critically to answer existing problems, including economic problems. So this depends on the effort we make and the thoughts we apply in real life, because success and financial freedom are the fruit of thought, hard work and smart work to achieve a goal.
If sitting at college can't change anything in your life, be it thoughts or behavior, then there's no need to go to college which only costs a lot of money. Because someone who has never attended college and only works as a laborer, I think he is nobler than a graduate who is just unemployed every day.

I believe it is an exaggeration saying that your country has no job available.  There are job opportunities but it is limited.  I think you need to explore more, being underpaid is different from having no available job to apply with.

Most people who go for more degrees believe they can get better job at the end of the day. People that only go for more degrees in a stare with high unemployment rate are they doing right thing by putting all their focus on academic because this is the only thing they can do best.

Having basic education is good, in terms of having the right education to get employed is another thing.  It is wrong to think that if one got a degree, they can apply to any job because each job have specification on what education is required to get hired.  It is true that having more degrees can get a person a chance to qualify to more jobs.  So these people have the luxury to choose which job to apply that can give them higher payrate.

More degrees definitely increase the chances you are going to get a job, especially a high paying one. Although there are no assurances, that is what I'm focused to right now. We never know if we will succeed or not, because there are another factors involved, including the so called "network" of contacts you have to have ir order to belong to an influent circle of people who will indicate you to occupy the spot of job you are looking for.

If you don't have degrees, you have to be a very smart, active and social person to thrive in private, autonomous jobs.

In my country, it's about getting the job and not the salary if you're just a fresh graduate. You'll get more chance of being hired when you're a degree holder compared to those applicants who are not yet finished with their studies or haven't landed college studies.
While it's a good thing that you have other degrees that you have finished, there's always politics in the office. It's real and even if you've got the highest form of education, you'll just be beaten by those colleagues that are close to your superiors and this is happening everywhere not just in my country. Although there are companies that do appreciate your grit and educational attainment and will give you the right compensation, there are companies and HRs that like to lowball applicants. That's why IMHO, skills and attitude still beat these degrees whether you own more than 1.

There is nothing higher than acquiring knowledge.  The more educated the nation is, the better the nation is.  Education should not be viewed in the eyes of obtaining a certificate.  Education is the backbone of the nation.  It is not enough to take one degree after another. You have to apply your acquired knowledge in practice.  One should learn to earn money in the right way with the knowledge gained through education.  Because just a degree will not fill your stomach.  Learn how to earn money and learn how to use money properly.  Progressive thinking should be kept on how to increase money from money.  If an educated person does business, the chances of profiting from his business will increase several times.

No. In our internet age you do not need a degree to make money. You need a degree to gain a career which is high level and comes with large amounts of responsibility as well as a brag-worthy income. Like being a medical doctor or an engineer. Although maybe people have made a stereotype out of those fields.

You can just go online, search for and download study materials. In fact the same study materials as in university. You could even compose a curriculum for yourself based completely on the curriculum of some university.

A degree is just PROOF that you have the knowledge and skills. Without a degree you can only claim to have those things. But purely for gaining knowledge on how to financially gain an advantage? You do not need a degree for that.

Believe in what you want and shape your life around it, you can see a door through something that I see only through walls, you don't have to confuse me that there is a door through the walls, I will call you blind but do not listen.

If you believe that academic pursuits will do great for four life what's holding you back? My opinion doesn't matter, as there are still many people who pursue degrees and they end up creating a good career for themselves.

I know that many popular people around the world aren't in education and they still become top millionaires and billionaires today, but that's them, you can do the same thing and end up with nothing, they believe that degrees won't do shit and they follow business and investments, that doesn't mean you should too, this is a matter of choices and goals, whether it's going to work for you or not is unknown to anybody.

They are doing the right thing because deciding to pursue an education is not a bad thing. I don't know about your country, but I believe that problems that are occurring there are also happening in mine, and we cannot see anyone who has been selected to be a part of those problems as a bad person. Opportunities could happen at any time, but in order to succeed in this economy, we shouldn't put all of our eggs in one basket when it comes to education. A degree also helps when employers are looking for educated candidates. Therefore, we shouldn't claim that our decision to stop furthering our education is the right one.

We cannot turn down a job that can pay us a little money and claim that our results are worth more than that. We can get a job and be paid a little salary. When they give their best to their job, they can get promoted. When another job opportunity comes along with a salary that is higher than the job they have, they can still switch to that job. Every success can be made gradually. Each of us choose the best aspect of our lives.

This is a good question we need to ask ourselves because many people had been making the mistakes without even knowing what they ought to know at an appropriate time. We need to try as much to develop ourselves rather than trying to get more degrees.

This is not going to help us at all. We need to learn the reality of life by ourselves and is what we are not thought in school. School is there to help our gain knowledge not experience to create wealth. Rather than gaining degrees to look for a better job after it, it is better for us to create business for ourselves so we can have our own investment and business that would help us and give us money in a long run.

A degree isn't equivalent to financial security. Why? because what I think of a degree is just a long course award for yourself, more of being an expert in a single field.

I must say having a degree, or a number of degrees is setting your bar higher making you more qualified for a lot of jobs. You get better chances in the short term, but not necessarily mean you get a better life. Having a lot of degrees is also a responsibility to keep the knowledge you learn and utilize it leveraging your skills to get that job you wanted and make $$$. But have you ever thought if there's a successful personality that has a single degree? IMO, it is important to get a degree, nothing's gonna change with that but not all the knowledge, learnings, and skills are acquired during your schooling.
We do have those people who do have multiple degrees on which trying out to being expert on certain fields which it isnt really just that limited on a single point on which only a few do really go into this path because we

know that once a certain person do finish up their studies then they would really be directly looking for a job and would really be trying out to build their lives independently on which it is really just that a common approach.
Having that other courses would really just take up the time even more and this is why its really that unlikely that you would really be that going to pursue such step and even myself wont really be having plans to have
multiple degree and would really be just planning on focusing on a single course on which i could really be having my expertise.

its true that having degree whether only 1 or more wouldnt really be giving out assurance that you could really be getting a job after you have finished it. Lots of challenges on which you would really be that
needing to face before you would really be able to make yourself succeed. There's no way that we could secure a job after we do graduate and this is why some people dont mind about
getting a degree but rather they would really be pursuing on careers on which they could really be able to make money that fast.

We should not forget that knowledge is power. Nowadays, companies often prefer people with practical experience over just having a degree. But having both knowledge and experience is the best. It helps you stand out in the job market. So,no knowledge is wasted. Getting a good job also depends on how well you connect with others.

I agree with this, companies are always looking for those who have experience and have completed their studies.
It's really hard at the beginning especially when you're a fresh graduate, you don't have a choice in your salary but once you gain a few years of experience there you can say that you're financially stable. You can say that you are confident about your financial situation. But don't get me wrong, I know there are people who didn't finish their studies but their finances are also stable, while others are already rich.
