I really want know if getting more degrees can make life financially better because I come from a country where their are no job and I have seen people that the only thing they can do in life is to read books, getting more degrees attaining all these degrees yet no still go job for them with good pay. Do think people who read in a region with slim job opportunities are doing the right thing?

Most people who go for more degrees believe they can get better job at the end of the day. People that only go for more degrees in a stare with high unemployment rate are they doing right thing by putting all their focus on academic because this is the only thing they can do best.
You know the expression: those who study a lot have no time to earn money. I believe that the ability to make money is the ability to act and take advantage of the opportunities that are now available. There are guys who, even without a higher education, are capable of achieving excellent results in business, and there are those who have two or three higher educations, but they occupy low positions at work and think that they need another education to earn more. The ability to make money is the ability to find opportunities that always exist.

I had to acknowledge the fact that having many academic degrees by going to masteral and doctorate could give you the upper hand in getting accepted for a certain high paying position. But I do not think that is the case anymore in today’s era.

In our family, I am the underdog despite the eldest of the siblings. My married sister has a masteral degree and my youngest has a high paying managerial position due to her outstanding college grades.

As for me? I had a guy who almost got kicked out twice by the university due to many failing grades. My transcript of records were ugly. But I didn’t give up. Still I am fortunate to have decent freelance jobs for years until I got into crypto that changed my life where I had more opportunities than ever not really caring about my academic performance or so.

What more degrees are you going to acquire? Are they health related, tech related? These are degrees if acquired can make you very highly competitive in the job market and around the world because your level of skill and competence increases. For instance there are countries that would grant your a talent visa and you automatically get a job and a residency permit just because of your degree and skill level.

For me, I prefer short courses. They are highly specialized and you don't have to spend years in the class room. More of practical hands on training.

To get many and high degrees is certainly not an easy thing and requires quite a long process. Most people want to get lots of degrees because they want to improve their career or position in an agency such as a government agency, where when someone wants to improve they also have to get the highest degree they previously got because in government agencies there are work groups which determine the amount of wages. work at the agency.

However, if you ask whether having many degrees can change their lives financially or not, this depends on themselves. If the results of this education can change their thinking into someone who is visionary and continues to think forward in the future. So I am sure that the results of the education they have received so far will not be in vain and can change their lives financially to become someone who is more financially stable. However, if the results of this education are not able to change their thoughts and behavior then no matter how many degrees they get will not be able to change anything.

A diploma merely signifies that you've attended school, and in today's professional landscape, what truly matters is your skillset. Every company seeks employees who excel in their respective domains; a programmer need not be proficient in music, for instance. This implies that a programmer should excel in their chosen field. The testament to your skills nowadays takes the form of a portfolio.

Elevate yourself to excellence and become a maestro in a particular field. Showcase your work on social platforms like LinkedIn. This way, companies will come looking for you.

Remember that every individual is unique and always valuable, even the laziest among us.

Having a professional degree represents your level of knowledge. It has nothing to do with your skills or practical knowledge. Gaining knowledge and having practical experience are two different things. In your working sector your practical knowledge is generally real value for your contribution. I have seen people paid more because of their efficiency in their jobs when they don't have a higher degree.

I don't know where you came from but mostly those rich countries will be focusing more on skills now. It is very different before and now because before if you graduated with a degree and even had rewards after you graduated you had a high chance that you would land a job and even companies were after you but right now I have noticed they are more into skills. Interviews right now the first step is to pass the test or exam before you can go to the second stage meaning even if you have a degree and do not have those skills you are useless.

If you have a chance to have a degree go for it but also build your skills along the way because that is your weapon in finding a job and competition right now in the job market is very huge.

We should not forget that knowledge is power. Nowadays, companies often prefer people with practical experience over just having a degree. But having both knowledge and experience is the best. It helps you stand out in the job market. So,no knowledge is wasted. Getting a good job also depends on how well you connect with others.

In countries where it's hard to find a good job, it's a good idea to learn useful skills and look for work locally. Because finding a better even with your degrees might not be easy. Unless you search for opportunities in a different country.

If you are looking at financial wealth or probably wants to get so rich, i would say degrees doesn’t offer that, if you look at the list of the world most wealthiest people you wouldn’t find any professors there but rather entrepreneurs because this are things that actually bring direct profits. Even if you are educated and you are employed under someone and never have your own personally built source of income or have a share in someone’s business then you can’t get that super rich. Although they are jobs that pay you to be decently balanced and most people are comfortable about it, this isn’t also bad either because that’s your passion.

The People in countries where jobs are scarce and they go for more degrees are trying everything possible to up their chances in getting those few jobs available. Example is when an opening of job of graduates are open and not multiple positions are available then the recruitment team narrow their search by giving edge to those with added certifications like post graduates studies. This is part of the reason why most people go further in education. Another reason again is some go for specialized courses like in Tech probably because the courses they studied seems to have lots of unemployed graduates and specializing in an area gives you edge when that area is soothed after.

So it is not bad to get more degrees if you plan to practice your profession but when it is totally about been wealthy then only business provide you that and not multiple degrees

Obtaining more academic degrees opens up an opportunity for you to have more social relationships. These relationships sometimes provide you with material gains if you exploit them well.

More education means more knowledge and the ability to analyze and deduce, which means you will have a better chance in the job market.
When you are employed, a higher degree means that you will be qualified for the job compared to someone who does not have a degree, but all of these data are related to the labor market and the availability of jobs. Is the competition to obtain these jobs fair or is it through mediation and the nature of competitors, as the more specialized your field is, the fewer people may want to learn it.

My advice to you is to have good knowledge about everything. Examine postgraduate studies and experience certificates in a field related to your studies in the lower degree, but it is not specialized, so that you have the opportunity to apply for several jobs if there is no job available for your degree.

~snip~  Do think people who read in a region with slim job opportunities are doing the right thing?

I am sure that effort and hard work will ultimately bring goodness. In fact, there is no guarantee that economic and financial conditions will be better if we have a good academic degree, but those who have a good academic degree have a greater chance of getting a good job with a high salary. Life is about contestation and opportunities, whoever can take advantage of opportunities and work hard, I am sure he will get maximum results someday

So as long as there is still time and opportunity, I think there is no harm in studying and seeking an academic degree for the future. Even though we don't know what will happen in the future, we still have to try hard

Academic can get you pussy magnet. No doubt some girl are attracted to highly skilled career such as lawyer, accountant, teacher, doctor, obviously in hope of benefiting from the high income promised by the career. I do not know whether middle classes like this still relevant today, it seem middle classes today has been shrinking much faster, even many middle classes employees decide to quit their jobs due to stress.

Can higher academic promise income? May be not so much, but I would confidently tell you you can easily attract many chicks with high education background, because being highly educated still make you very high value compare and standout compare to 99% of the losers on the street. Many girls would definitely throw themselves to you immediately. To marry high educated high income hubby. Smiley

I don't know where do you live. In the most developed countries, the educational system(universities and college) is slowly turning into a scam. The students have to pay absurd tuition fees and get into student debt only to find out that's it's hard for them to get a good job after they graduate. Having a university degree makes sense only if you want to pursue a career as a government clerk, lawyer or doctor.
If you want to work in other industries(in the private sector) having skills and experience are more important than a diploma.

Getting a degree & being well educated certainly helps to get a good job but it’s not a necessity. If you have a skill or a really good, outgoing personality you can earn just as much, if not more money than somebody is much more intelligent than you. I know lots of people who went to college & ended up being teachers. I didn’t go to college & I am far more financially successful than all of them. Also you are here on bitcointalk.org, you don’t need a degree to buy bitcoin & become wealthy that way.
