I still believe dollar is the strongest currency in the world. It will take a long time for bitcoin to rise up against the competition in terms of currency being used worldwide.

Dollar will be the strongest currency in the world as the world's economy are relying to them. And when it goes for the crypto currency world, bitcoin is the strongest, most popular and powerful crypto coin. But one day, we will see bitcoin dominating the forex market and even dollar will be competing with it directly.
Do you think the government will helps Bitcoin have opportunity compete with Dollar in future? No, never! They never make that future become true, because before that future, they have some way control Bitcoin or user Bitcoin.

After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
Strongest cryptocurrecny indeed, but strongest currency? I highly doubt. There are lots of currencies. Currencies that are used through years, by different countries, currencies that has physical value and stable market price, and currencies which are legal to most countries of the world. Bitcoin's growth is amazing, but to say that it is the strongest currency and especially as of this moment will be a punch to the moon. It is still developing, there'll be more years to come. But maybe in the future, it will be the strongest.

Bitcoin is not the strongest currency in the world, clearly. And the mission of bitcoin is actually not being the strongest currency of the world. We don't need this, we need technologival innovation from bitcoin. Bitcoin is not similar to fiat money.

Bitcoin is not the strongest currency in the world but yes the strongest crypto-currency of world. Now, I am seeing that many countries are banning it because people are not paying the tax. Now what can be the future of Bitcoin?

I believe In bitcoin and Think it is very cheep at the moment. But bitcoin Is not the strongest currency ATM because it is brand new and has huge fluctuation. Alot of people don't have faith in bitcoin and this can cause panic sell's. Bitcoin has a future of becoming the strongest currency in the world but has not hit this as yet. It needs to be more available and easier to trade for goods and services to become strong.

on the other hand its the best investment today in the world and soon when it reach the enough years it will be the strongest among others.

Bitcoin has only a few million users.
And many of them use it as an investment, not as a currency.
I think stability is a very important element for a strong currency.
Bitoin is way too volatile for that.
There are a few strong currencies in the world, but bitcoin is not amongst them.

What are you even saying about the world's economy relying on U.D. Dollar? From what I know each individual country has its own way of running its economy even without the help of the U.S. Dollar. And don't get me started on the debate about if the U.S. market id down all of the markets are down as well, it is just that american foreign investors happens to also pull out their investments to other markets outside of the U.S.  but it by no means affects the foreign market permanently.

If only market price attribute is taken, bitcoin has got overwhelming gains over major currencies since the time OP posted. And a lot of gains are ahead due to growing acceptance.

Bitcoin today is very popular and we all know that it's value is constantly increasing though there are still times where it goes down by just a little. Compared to the other currencies, it may have the chance to become the strongest but the fact that it is not yet legalized in the whole world makes us jump into the conclusion that it will still take up a long time before bitcoin will made it to the top. Dollars I think is the strongest right now but I know someday bitcoin will be able to take over it.
As much as I agree with you, because bitcoin is an international currency and that makes it very strong. I have read some articles before saying that the reason why bitcoin is not yet legalized in some other countries is that, it is also considered as illegal, or some or maybe few are using it in illegal activities. I had also read that bitcoin has creating competition against fiat that is why the government will not legalize it or maybe it will take time until it would be legalized.

My opinion is bitcoin is not the strongest currency in the world. It is the most expensive currency in the world, but it did so ourselves. We see that continually happen to a fork. That says more about the weakness of the currency.

In my view, can we talk about btc being the strongest when it has not gained the pride of place. As we know that one of the qualities of paper money called legal tender in some jurisdiction,  is that it must be generally accepted in that locality or country as the case maybe. Thus, for btc to be compared as the strongest currency, I think for now — needs a lot of time. This is because, it also has to be generally accepted globally as we know of paper monies.
For value, we could say that because wetin a twinkle of an eye, one can be made a billionaire with btc.
Btc is a digital currency & doing excellently well.

Looks not yet seen to the whole world seems Bitcoin to be the strongest currency, as far as i know just in some countries bitcoin as a strong currency. But i'm sure Bitcoin will be a strong currency in the world, with its higher value and some of its advantages, Bitcoin will be a strong currency in the world surely i guess and its popularity will be widespread and more stronger.

Investigating monetary standards is an activity in relativity. We can state the U.S. dollar is up, however in respect to what? It might be solid contrasted with the euro, yet is it solid when contrasted with the Brazilian real? (It's not, incidentally.)

With its current runup to record-breaking highs versus the dollar, the cryptographic money bitcoin demonstrates it's among the most grounded territories of the forex market. This brings up two issues. Initially, is this another bubbly run like the one seen in 2013? What's more, on the off chance that it is a positively trending market, does that have suggestions that rise above the insignificant relative strengths among monetary forms?

Bitcoin is not small if it is then why is the price already surpass $4000 and immediately became $4200. This only shows the rapis growth of this currency and has more potential to grow unlike fiat currency that is intended to oppress, exploit and corrupt it's citizens from their banks masters. Bitcoin is free and now it is more powerful than ever lots of merchants and countries starting to adapt it cause they recognize it's potential. Online and offline businesses are also accepting it.

I think bitcoin is not yet the strongest currency in the world but there is a big possibility that it can be the strongest..bitcoin is now widely use and it became more popular as time passes by..it's value also continue to grow so I guess in later time bitcoin can replace dollar as the strongest currency.
I agree with that, with the number of people who's into internet nowadays its not impossible to happen.  The rapid growth of bitcoin users are obvious, with these i think in the near future it  can bet the other existing currencies

I think we can call bitcoin as the strongest digital currency because of the number of it's users. Even in pumps and downs, the price of bitcoin is still making a pump because the users are there to take advantage of the price dump.
Bitcoin has been experiencing many ups and downs in its trading history. But bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and not a common currency so I don't think it can be compared with local currencies.

Bitcoin is unique in itself and has many good experiences in investments. Yes for sure bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency ever and it can also grow much more wider in future. Bitcoin is decentralised and it makes it more popular amongst traders.

For me bitcoin is the 1st and strongest cryptocurrency of the world becuase of this value will contiously to grow ,rise. And become popular in the future so many people got interest this bitcoin becuase so essy to use . And i think this bitcoin is our future money .
