You won't really know for sure because every coin is different. Some coins would increase their value after exchange and some don't. Some coins blooms then immediately dies. You'd never really know, the chance of you having more profits really depends on how lucky you are. If the current market price would still go up or reduced to rubbles.

i think the profit we get may depend on the the project itseft and the exchange which has listed the new coin, because investors usually buy token in ICO before it is listed on exchanges so they still have profit even when ICO is scammed, and some exchanges no matter how good is the token, it will always be dumped at the first moment is listed on the exchange, so it is quite a lucky game.

Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?

Could be the best way to earn profits.
But you have to see the project behind the coin itself, and if you can, you should buy the coin before it listed in big market such as binance.
And hours before it listed, make sure you buy it on another market with cheaper price before it enters big markets.

If you see that the coin has fallen in price more than 2 times since the moment of ICO, then of course it can be bought. Very often the price is restored in a few weeks. The best place for this is Etherdelta.

Yes, absolutely. Because as you see, the new list coin in coinmarket cap has a potential for a one time dump. Due to its first main reason, the investors that are in a flipping mode - meaning they just buy ico at a discounted price and sell it automatically when it hit on the exchange, and the next one is the bounty hunters that is aiming for a quick sell at a low price. It is a great opportunity to buy at this time but be careful. It may just last sooner than you think.

Wait for the market to come up and wait for it to fall. I'm sure that you'll earn a lot here because more tokens can be bought. And of course when it's up, it's definitely a bigger profit you'll get.

I think buying new listed altcoins is not a good idea because most of the new listed tokens/coins are being dump by it's holder and bounty participants when they find out that their rewards tokens are already listed. This is the reason why i disagree that new listed coins are profitable. In case of buying new listed coins, I prefer to buy in their ICO period, the prices of tokens in ICOs are much cheaper than those on markets.

Investment on a newly listed coin is such that go either ways depending the success of its ICO, the team behind it, and the relevance/sustainability of the idea behind its inception in the first place. As someone have posted earlier, it is always good to be extremely cautious dealing with cases like this. Putting all that are needed into their rightful places, I don't think anyone should have problem

For last six months, it's been seen that the price of a token comes below the ICO price after being listed to market.
And when you buy from the exchange, you don't have to hold it for long.
At current period of depression, every legit coin listed for over a week can be profitable in long run.
I do not agree with you, the CPY and ATFS coin after being listed are worth a tenth of the value of the ICO, in each case we can buy and hold. But pennies like CPY and ATFS should not be bought

Depends on the potential value of the coin. There are coins that have been listed but prices have fallen so much because no one has the need to use this coin but there are also many pennies that make a profit.

Yes. I always watch and buy after ICO. But it wasn't such way always. Few years ago, when ICO wasn't so popular. I bought SibCoin. And I'm very glad. I sold it on a top, and now again plan to buy it. Because with all this correction price dropped nice. Also I know that there are a strong team with a big expirience behind. So I'm sure that I'll make again huge profirs)

Its true that buying a newly listed coin can be very profitable especially in a bear market, it sells below the ico price.
if the coin has a good tech with a great team behind it, it could easily give you x15 on the long run. But there are times some coins especially the overhyped ones refuse to leave up to expectations, one has to be very careful whenever he wants to take such decisions.

If the coins are promising and the development on the project are progressing then the value and the price in the market would be increasing because a lot of investors see this as a promising coins.
Due to the fact that bounty hunters immediately sell their coins, we have the opportunity to buy these coins cheaply. I think this is a profitable strategy.

Good decision, almost ICO listed on exchange go below ICO price because we are in red market. Choose some potential altcoin to hold, you can earn more profit than invest on ICO, just wait for bull run coming.

Recommended actions mate, but first you should read the market responses and reviews about those coins.. Or maybe you can do some research on some new ICO's with good projects and team, these projects usually will end up profitable for the investor.

It isn't easy to find a new listed coin that can be profitable. Some of these coins might be just scams. I already experienced it. What I can suggest is to find a good and trustworthy project manager who has history of paying his members.

It really depends upon the demand of the new listed coin. If it is more promising and having a great potential to grow in the future then some investors wanting it. Then this coins would become profitable in returns in the near future with investors strategy that keep in investing it and the demands will get increased due to its potential great development in the marketplace.

Empowering crypto w/ sustainable energy
I think if you get the information early enough that an coin gets listed at an big exchange like binance you have good chances. Most autotrading bots are doing the same and buying coins before they get listed at binance
