It depends on the ICO, the really good ones have good valuation and sell all tokens to hardcap, those are the ones that you would like to buy on ICO, but it takes resarch to see which ones will reach hardcap.

Having succumbed to the charm of six-digit figures, token buyers forget that most ICO projects fail, and investors lose their money. Investing in tokens is more dangerous than in venture projects. It is difficult to estimate their exact number, since there are many companies on the ICO, but over 95% of ICO projects do not seem to be shot.

It is more profitable and more sensible to buy you ICO when different incentives like bonuses and future airdrop  is given to the early investors ! If when your ICO hit the market and tank,  then you could buy more and average down.  Always remember first mover advantage.

I notice the same.
I think this is due to the fact that there are many ICOs that disappoints, some are even scam they appear promising and end up syphoning your Investment and go mute.
Users have learnt a lot from them and therefore prefer buying directly through the market.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

I advise that you but in the market instead of the ICO because majority of ICO  today are scam or didn't even step on the market. It is also an advantage if you buy in the market because you are convince that you can trade it it anytime.

actually it has a very big risk. buy tokens before ICO or before release in the market. However, when getting a profit, of course it can be very big and unpredictable. All penu surprises. If you want to be safe, you should really be selective in choosing an ICO project. Because now more projects, it should make us increasingly have high criteria on the ICO project that we will invest.

When you have plans to make an investment upon tokens or coins in its ico stage it is good to invest by that time analyzing to the maximum rather than investing after getting listed to the market. Because it allows to get added profit with accordance to the growth attained which is not possible buying on market.

This  depends on the fundamental of the project, if the project really has good fundamental, low token supply and strong community so buy the token during ICO is a good idea because when listing we can make good profits from it.

But except these, better to buy on exchanges

It depends on the project. There are still a lot of project whom listed in the market above the ICO price. If a project is good, no matter how much the bounty hunters sold their coins, its price will insist to volatile if it's very promising and there is a huge support for it.

Lately it seems that after the ico, once the token hits the market, it tanks. It used to not always be that way. But if you're looking to buy in cheaper, you might just want to wait for it to dump when it hits the market.

There is no point in buying during ICO, when you can buy them cheaper, after listing on exchanges. That's why, a lot of investors have been losing interest in ICOs.

Hi during my short experience, i saw some crypto which were cheaper after their release on the exchange market than during the ICO, so you'll never know

Yes, I agree that too many times distinguish bounty campaigns, but these projects do not cause a large project and even bounty hunters do not run the risk of signing up for such an ICO. So I think it is a problem of the investor and not someone else's.

You can buy a coin on the pre-sale with a good discount and then immediately sell it on exchange and put this discount in your pocket. If you believe in this coin, you can buy it again if the price has fallen below ICO.

if I choose, better at market time. because the coin price will go down at market entry.

It has become the norm  for price to dump once its listed on an exchange. The project with too large a bounty will sort of dump before it rises again. The newest example was in helbiz. Now it's slowly climbing

When bitcoin on the bottoms is traded, I prefer to buy on the stock exchange. But more depends on the project.  Roll Eyes

Projects that look very good on the market, more precisely, the prices for the tokens of this project were bought at the ICO, of course, they can be bought on sale, which sometimes happens after the ICO, but still in order for the project to live, you need to invest in ICO

On the one hand, when you buy at the ICO stage, devs often given significant discounts of up to 25-30 percent. But when the coin goes to the exchanges, then a few days later it is possible to pick up on the fall. In General, it all depends on the project itself - an excellent project will not traded below the ICO price, in this case, buying on the market will be much more expensive.

I always think differently. You can get a profit before the launch, but it happens after the exchange that the price will fall. In each case, its situation.
