I did not risk to buy tokens or coins at the ICO stage because there is too much scam. Best of all to find a promising coins at the market. I'm sure that there is no need for extra risk.

To me its better to buy when market, I'm not prefer to buy when it's ICO. Although invest during ICI is cool, but sometimes buy in market cooler than ico especially with the way market is flaw this day. Well, I think that not all the time the bounty hunters would sell their token. We all know that we don't have the same mind set. Not all the bounty hunter are dumping it is also the investors. If they found that the market price is beyond ICO price then they all grab and sell a bunch of tokens.

It depends on how good the project is. I personally prefer buying when coin is available in an exchange, most ICO has no assurance wether will be released in the market or not. Most ICO also has higher price during ICO than in tge exchange, which is not really supposed to happen. Whether the coin have lower price in the exchange compared to when initial coin offering or not depends entirely on the coin itself, buyers judging whether it's a good coin or not by seeing whether the project progressing so well or just merely a money grabber.As I see, a really good project tend to have its coin value higher so many times than the price in ICO, if you happen to be lucky enough to found one and invested into it, rest assured, you're going to be rich.

For me it's better to buy during ico. Why? because there's a lot of giveaways which you can't avail in market. That will surely make a profit by the time of it becomes available in the market
