Ehtereum is the future of smart contracts, and bitcoin is a good commodity if you ask this question to me. Both are counted as promising by the majority of the crypto people.

When it comes in long term investment I think Bitcoin has an edge over ethereum because bitcoin is still popular in the market since it all started and that is the reason why most investors choose bitcoin . If you have 100x money, use 25x to invest in bitcoin and the rest, 75x should be invested in ethereum. Ethereum's technology and adoption is more likely to be greater than bitcoin in the next years, I think.

i definately will want to choose Ethereum for long term investment because from all indications it is going to be the next market phenomenon. Bitcoin seems to be loosing a lot of steam right now and tht is not good.

bitcoin is certainly much better than ethereum because bitcoin always grows year by year, although ethereum experiences the same thing as bitcoin but the growth of ethereum is not as fast as bitcoin.
