whether it is safe or not depends on our accuracy and choice when participating in ICO.
because we can not say it's safe, see so many ICO's scam now.
before you participate in an ICO, it helps you research the project first.

It's not dangerous if you have experience and you can easily find a good and promising project. But if you are new to investing, it is very dangerous.

Of course it's not safe! Because many projects are false, so the risk is very big! But if you choose the right project, the rewards are great! So I don't think it's important to participate in ICO, but how to find a real potential good project!

It is quite difficult to protect against risk. Pay close attention to the achievements of the project team (described in White Paper): if the main persons of the company have no experience of successful development and work in the field for which the product is produced, it is a very alarming signal. Pay attention to the goals of ICO — reliable projects have clear deadlines, Softcup and HardCap, scammers want to collect as much as possible and do not set specific tasks.

We know that ICO investment is a high-risk way to make money, though this is a very profitable way. But before investing in ICO, you should know the details of the ICO that you are trying to invest.

For me Intial Coin Offering or ICO is safe to participate as long as you observe or investegate there profile in ico or read there whitepaper and roadmap. And if you have friend that has more experience ask them if that ico is fine

There are no 100% SAFE investments. No one in real world and crypto world.
But it is really a risk to invest an ICO now.
I think over 99% of them are scams or nothing.

I think no. Each investor wishing to purchase tokens must be aware that he may permanently lose  funds, as at present times, this emerging industry is not regulated, it is practically impossible to pursue in the future, the organizers of the issue of the tokens in the judiciary or criminal prosecution. Try to learn more about risks and analyze.

Its safe depends on your proper search of ICO's it can be safe or not. Base on my observation mostly are probably scams. But still it depends on your research.I recommend is that if u want really want some tokens of a ICO project, just wait till it get listed on exchange. first comes pump then dump. maybe u can get a cheaper price or a little bit higher. but in the end u know what is safe and not

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

ICOs are great investment for crypto and can provide big returns. But reports say that around 81% of ICOs turned out scam. So be very careful on whom you invest. Try to study carefully the legitemacy of the project.

For all the time I participated somewhere in the 8 ICOs, and never had any problems. However, I rarely got a profit, often the coin falls after entering the stock exchanges.

Yes
But better to take a part in the second round of token sale
For example, if the project has pre-ICO and ICO - better to take a part in ICO

It will always be safe to to participate in genuine ICOs, because these ICOs are a way for start-ups to raise funds for their projects and participants of ICO are likely to have good returns

Yeah, ICOs are like gambling, you may loose everything. I think they are worth of risk if you trust the project completely . If not, it's better just to buy more bitcoin and be happy.

It is better for you to do some research before you join one of them, there are too many and I believe there are scammers out there. Take a good project with working product its far more safe to invest in that kind of ICO.
