Nothing is totally safe. You are not guaranteed to make money from ICO.
My strategy is I'd rather participate in a small number of ICOs, which I would do thorough research.

have there ever been any cases when people got sued for trading cryptocurrencies?
There was a case some time ago of people that run something similar to an exchange in a country where that was illegal and they got arrested so make sure that you understand very well what you are getting into when dealing with crypto so you avoid problems in the future.

It is safe as long as you do your research. Do not rush into anything. Look at the project, the team and the road map and whitepaper. If you do good research you will find what you are looking for.

No, its probably not safe to invest in any of it since a lot of them might turn out to be scams.

You need to find a good one that actually does have something new to offer. Not to mention  that have to do your part of reading the whitepaper.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
In general, one can say about ICo activity that there are many winning ways for investors. There are a lot of methods to determine for how safety some project. Smiley

Yes if you know enough about the project you want to be involve make some research first before anything else the team and the company, etc about it. It is risky also because we do not know if the project will be successful

Nothing is totally safe in the world and everything has its risk. If you do not know enough, you'd better invest in a little and after you know enough, you can invest more to earn more money.

Yes, right. Also he might go research to find out if the company he want to be involved is a good one or they're trying to craft a scam and earn a money.

Currently there are many ICONs that have been present in the market,
but that does not mean a lot of true, maybe just a lot of fake ICO projects

Safe or not depends on the project concept and the team members.

You should really only invest what you can afford to lose. Also, you should do research on your own and don't just straight up believe what they say. Read whitepaper's, chat with fellow speculators, etc.

Taking ico is risky so be sure to check out the route, the team, its community, the community, etc. to avoid seeing virtual projects.

There are two sides to look for befor you invest in to an ico project. It is more safer if you're thinking about whether the developmenters would run away once get the money they targeted or not and as long as you are capable of judging the developmenters by looking at their past experience. So never invest  only just by looking at the website. Luckyly recently i found a good iand reliable ico project called daneel.

Yes of course it is safe to participate but it depends to the project because some of them are not good but you need to choose wisely.

Yes it is safe. However, before doing that, we should first check and read their whitepaper to kmow their aim and do further research to see if it is a legitimate ICO and if it is something that might progress in the market.
As mate said that its safe. But its not safe as he mentioned because there were some ICO's which were proved to Scam. But it also don't need that every ICO's is scam.
So before participating you need to read fully about ICo's there white paper, their articles their full details and most importantly that how many people are taking interest in BTC and what are the opinion about that ICO and which kind of people are involve in that ICO and who are the organizer of that ICO. After getting all information then you should decide about participating in ICO.

It is safe to participate with different ICO, but as we all know, joining isn't just as fast as that for we all have to be careful since ICOs are nit safe at all times, so be good in choosing.

Depending, if icos is not proven scam then it is safe to follow icos, but all you need to do if you want to follow icos is you have to be careful and check icos first.
As of now there are some sites and advisors in ico which they check and read almost all information in an ICO and they rate it as a good ico or not. That was just an ICO advice or on their own vision only about some of the ICO you are the one who's responsible to invest and to your money. I will say that don't go all in even the team is so legit there are always a disadvantages or problems that can occur.
