There is no safetest way in protecting us from scam of ICO projects, so we have to prepare us good knowledge before investing in any project, look for information about purposes and reasons why they did that, whitepaper is inevitable thing in the research, and can it be used in real life or not? from that you will have your chance to decide whether to invest or not, but everything has it risks, we can never make sure that project is completely safe.

It depends on the ICO you've chosen, there are a lot of ICOs out there and some are not real and scams. You can do your own research about the ICO you like so your time and money will not be wasted. You should be careful in what ICO you will join before investing your money and time in to it.

We all not sure in the ICO because scams are always there, but we can do our own way to avoid joining those scam, i agree that we research all by your own will help because the only way to avoid those scam is know all about the project and about the team.

Before joined in the ICO it is better to learn about of the project and the team. Of course
we need be carefull at the moment, because a lot of scammers make use of Crypto to get of money.

All investments are risky. We should always remember that, it is inherent in risks. Example is an Initial Coin Offering or ICO. We can say that it is risky indeed but in order to minimize or even eliminate risks, we should be vigilant and a researcher. Try to research everything about your prospect ICO. Try to check the developers transparency and the team, the community of a coin in telegram and even partnerships they have been or incoming partnerships. Then after checking and everything looks good. It is safe to participate in Inital Coin Offering (ICO).

There are always multiple risks of participating in an ICO. The first is that the project might not go well and the coins that are delivered in exchange for money will not worth anything. The biggest problems with the ICO is, that your money can be stolen. Do your research, what have others said about it on forums, have any mainstream you-tubers discussed them, is the white paper well written and factual or just dramatic nonsense trying to sound impressive.Diversify your investment to lower risk, don't put all your eggs in one basket, no matter how excited you are about one of the currencies. Not just for safety but it gives you a better chance of stumbling on the next big thing.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
ico wont harm you so no need to be afraid lol..anyway what participate are you asking?investing or joining campaign?if youre going to invest i should say take care, because more than the legitimate is scams so you must be aware of that, since youre money is at steak on this..

But if were talking about bounty campaign participation what i can tell you is dont bother about scams or legit this only time whos involve and its not a lot to lose, but if the campaign succeed your profit is much higher than what you had lose in those scam,in the end youre gaining than losing.

Yes it is safe in participating in ICO's but you need to stick to one manager to ensure your money and I think it is also safe to invest if your trusted ICO manager is in that campaign that you can take advantage of taking it more secure that's why I always participate to ICO's that my trusted manager is managing it so I better relax on doing my position in the ICO.
I think you're referring on bounty, but the OP is on investing idea, it is good to do both as long as we know that the project have potential for success, does it have a concrete plan and responsible team that can make the project success as an investor or as a bounty hunter.

ico how to define it is safe and unsafe? Many projects with ico scam, resulting in chaos ico, a lot of projects as long as the team in the company, there is almost no risk of disappearance, so it depends on how to choose, and investment must be there Risky

It's very safe to participate in ICOs

Just make sure that ICO won't ask your private key or anything else.
You should be careful too before join the ICO,
There are so many ICOs that will become a huge project and very worth to join.

I think always that participating in ICO is always too risky. This can lead to your success or failure. But there are ways to avoid participating in a scam ICO such as read the history, learn the details of the group, get the roadmap, and see the good possible to make your dream come true with your ICOs choice.

Yes, still expected that the PinkDate ethereum smart contract will be deployed end of day, February 9th.
New updated road map is now live on the site https://pinkdate.is

Just don't invest anything you absolutely cannot lose. Try to find ones that are using smart contracts to automate things too so they can't just change their minds. Pinkdate does this.

It is only safe to participate if the developers will not scam their participants, you should always look at the manager who will handle the ico in order to be sure that you will get the exact amount of bounty altcoins because some are just fraud and taking advantage of their profit.

Honestly speaking there is no such thing as being safe in investing/participating in ICO's. Risk will always accompany you. If you are thinking about participating in ICO, do your own research, but also to speak to people who have already gone through the experience of participating in it. Read the entire whitepaper. There absolutely must be a project roadmap, information about what gathered funds would be used for, how tokens will be used, and information about the team and project advisors. It is imperative to evaluate the project team. Assess the realization of the project and it must target a global audience and strive towards decentralization. Goodluck.

Safe or not it depends on the project developer.
If you search well about project before investing, it is safe for sure. There are lots of ICOs and their number increasing everyday. So there are some scams naturally. Thats why you need to search well before you investing in it.

Good luck.

As we all know, investing in ICOs is very risky you really have to dig deep in researching for these projects if it's a good investment or not. Well there's website that review this kind of instances, look at it in icobench.com and  icodrops.com. ICO's that are listed there are rated and has reviews. Check it by yourself and think before investing.
