ICO is not hot anymore and really hard to find good ico, people will not share a good ico to public because they want to buy that ico with 100% success rate. I think if you are newbie, then forget ico because buy ico required lots of research - which you dont have.

Even with your research, invest only what you can afford to lose. High risk investment is profitable, even with the little you have can stil make you successful.for exampl3, if you buy just 10btc in 2009. You know how much you will worth by now.

Participating in ICOs requires knowledge and experience. There is a chance you will be putting your money into scam or useless coin. Therefore you should be very careful while choosing an ico. Ico should be analyzed well and deeply.

I would not trust all ICO. It is necessary to study the campaign, to observe its popularity, and only then to invest..

There are many people who is afraid of investing in ICO, not because they cannot afford to invest but because of loosing value after investing, few scam projects are also one of the reason and the biggest fear is loosing of the money after investing. But in real there is nothing to worry if you are following a genuine project. If you research, discuss and then invest, scenario of loss may not exist. And investing in trusted ICO is the best way to make easy money.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
Before you ever invest in an ICO you should do alot of research on the specific coin and it's developers. Many of the ICO's being made right now are scams, but there are also real coins with a good concept being made. If you do enough research on them you can decide yourself what category the coin belongs in; scam or real.  If you find a good ICO and invest in it, there is a really big chance you'll make some significant profit.

somehow yes if you will participate in ICO that has a great future. You will see that if it is worth to invest if that ICO has a plan that will be useful in the future. Useful in a way that contributes to make our world a better place to live in. But if not. If that ICO is just a plan that cannot contribute anything useful, then that is not worth a penny.

Just use your head and check everything, most projects are really not a scam and they just need some finances to realize their idea

Of course, you first need to check that you want to invest! It's better not to work with an untested company! Now there are a lot of scammers, yes, such that from a real company can not be distinguished!

I think it's pretty safe while you're doing a good and proper analysis, because sometimes there are some scam ICOs, learn basically their whitepapers and spend some time looking for information, it will be very helpful
Yes it is the best way to get a information from the company or the ICO is to research firts its all detsiled they gave and in the end you will decide if you'd believe in their prospectus and team or not. Not all are scam you will be scammed if you dont know that you invest in a scam itself.

The biggest problem with ICOs, as they gain public attention, is that they are unregulated. There are few barriers to entry for anyone wishing to create a white paper, design a simple landing page and start collecting funds via a digital wallet. There are a number of fraudulent "entrepreneurs" who are abusing the system. As a result, it can be extremely challenging, as an investor, to pick the needles out of the looming haystack. So you should be able to afford the invested money to lose.

First of all , it's an investment like any other so yea it's safe as far as you know and understand in what have you put your money. If you pass this 2 things , then yea , it's super safe to invest into ICO's but in not all of them. I suggest to look on CEDEX website and ann thread.

ICO's that is not scam is an investment opportunity to make massive profits within a short period of time. Do your research diligently and invest only on ICO that has a product attached to it. At least 70% of ICO that has a verifiable product tends to succeed.

As there are different faces, so there are different needs and so there will be different projects to solve some problems in the world. You don't need to bother about the alt coins. Pick a project that you understand and invest in it, believing in its potential

Right saying, there are lots of ICO and they're all different. Some of them are extremely legit and their teams are known people. I don't hesitate to join that kind of ICO projects available outside.

Not really, I had a couple of examples when the tokens felt in price right after the ICO reached the hardcap so it's not about a 100% chance to win. Nevertheless you may get 200% income or even bigger, that turns people to go crazy of that investments.

Emm participate doesn't means you should spend your money on that ico. With join the bounty campaign that ico held you have contribute on promotion the ico, and it quite save because you not losing any money you have, you just need doing what campaign say.if wanna invest don't hope to high there is always a risk behind investment. The more invest you put, the high risk you get. Better playing save
