It depends on every person's goals. A Master degree could open a lot of opportunities for a person, it could bring options for a promotion or a raise. Nowadays a Master degree is more a personal achievement than a career achievement as most of the time a Master is not needed in Companies or you will not find a place that will pay enough money for that level of knowledge. To start a Master degree program it is important to study the "job market" to see if it is going to be enough opportunities to get a job, the less thing you want is to find out there are no jobs after doing such investment. A part-time program would be a good option as you can keep your job and maybe this could help you to pay for the program or move up within the company. In conclusion, a master degree is a big investment, make a decision based on the what you could win with it.

I dont think so. I saw a lot of successful people who have not even finished college. Masters degree and deploma are just Necessity to fit in a society’s requirements but not to success. One can be successful with out them because success is not measured and determined by others but by your own standard and basis.

Yes. It is very important. When you reach a certain age were you can't study because of your obligations, you will think that life could have been better if you have a master's degree. If you didn't finish school , someday you will notice that your high school friends are getting rich while you are left with just enough for your needs. You are not 100% correct. Bill Gates was educated in the Lakeside School, one of the best private preparatory schools in the United States. He was a National Merit Scholar when he graduated from Lakeside School in 1973. After that he enrolled in to Harvard, but didn't completed the course. The stories are very similar for Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Ma. These people have very solid educational background.
