If you know how to properly assess the risks, of course you can invest in the ICO. It is necessary to understand that the choice of the project is not so easy task, as it seems initially.
You need to have faith in your self, when you face uncertain situation then look for something that fit in you. Do not push your self to hard, enjoy the process, make a decision and experience the result whether its good or not.
Investing in ICOs are not good for investment. You have to suffer losses. Instead, invest when these coins are listed on exchanges then the price would be cheap.
I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!
YES! is the good time to invest in (ETH, NEO & EOS) because I think it's will give you huge profit in long term.
After reading the whitepaper of that project and still you are not convinced, then just invest. But in investing, it is your own money that is being placed into the market, that's why you have to think twice, do extra research, and be strategic to lessen the regret

Yes. its good time. But invest in bitcoin or ETH very use full. Because bitcoin and ETH prices are low now. Invest in now can earn big profit. After prices are high you can sell it. Any way invest in ICO is always good thing.

Ico is currently a lot of good in concept or platform that they will run. It may be difficult if most ico offer its great project. You should read the ico whitepaper that has a good rating and choose the one you want invested and Look for projects that have a great platform and an experienced team

Now is the great time to invest in ICOs. Of course, we can't say that your investments will be safe because there are still scams in this forum. But this will never happen if you check and do some research about your chosen ICO. You should be very careful in choosing where to invest so your investments will never be a waste.
I would suggest you to split your funds to invest in ICO, buy bitcoin and ethereum. The more you divide the money then the risk will reduces. If you are afraid next time you want to invest in other ICO then put in small amount.
I'm not sure this is really a good time at the moment.Maybe after a while when ICO will be a lot more popular this can be done but is not worth it
There are a good and promising ICO, you should do more research about them, but if you are uncertain then split your money and invest in bitcoin and ethereum, which it in the low price now.

To me, all ICOs are good advertise and all are claim as good, however a certain ICOs which is claimed as good ICOs doesn't promise success in the future. The best suggestion is try to look and identify the team, the products, and logical amount of tokens to distribute for the participants.
