Untill you put money in it, it can't be a scam, because by definition, airdrop is free money.
I don't understand how somebody giving you money would result in you calling it a scam Cheesy

But you can shout on them for wasting your time. right ?
And the way I looked at it I think they might not give you tokens.

If you are not losing any money, nor your work, nor even your time, it simply cannot be a scam. Let's try to give to words the meaning which they actually have...

I am keeping an eye on it. I wouldn't call it a scam but i am highly skeptical about this one. Let's hope I am wrong because I have quite a stash of POW tokens. Managed to sign early.

At least if it is a scam, none of us have really lost any money!
And I don't mind about my personal data anymore... many scammers have it already!

I don't think it's a scam. You have to understand that. The coin dropped and didn't raise money or ICO. Why is it a hoax? Maybe developers, they're a little selfish. They don't want to send out so many coins. They want to make money, too. SO. There is a tolerant attitude towards such airdrop.

Scam has a simple definition, it is meant to trick people, regardless of whether it is by investing money or time and effort. I'm not saying saying this token is a scam, mind you, and by extension neither are all the airdrop tokens we see. But they can still manipulate people into getting all these free tokens, most of them with no actual purpose other than to give the creators a base of users which they may or may not have some influence over.

Think about this. If I create 50 million tokens, keep half a million and give it away and spend a bit of time promoting and somehow getting community to ask for listing and what not. If even 1 token becomes 1 sat... then I have 5 million satoshis of "free money". That's $350 dollars created for a bit of work. Create 100 such tokens and you have 5 Bitcoins. Boom!

Well pow token links through Facebook and currently they are paying for referrals. Circling back to your question as to whether this is a scam, we can only tell this in December or whenever they open up for trading. I have around 750k pow tokens which I hope is of some use but as of now I don’t think it’s a scam. Wait and watch brother! We are all in this together!

As I understand it powtoken is onsale on etherdelta already, eventually there will be a signup for reddit, twitter, and bitcointalk users, and also a bridge between the coins on the social media sites and an exchange so you can sell your tokens. All in the future.

We still do not know the truth until December. Because I found this on the PowToken website:
"CAN I SELL POW 'LITE' FOR CASH?
Not yet. But our plan is to build a 'bridge' between POW 'lite' and POW ERC20 by December 2017. This bridge will allow you to transfer your POW 'lite' to the Ethereum Blockchain where it will becom POW ERC20. You will then be free to sell your POW ERC20 for cash. So, in the long term, the answer to your question is yes."
So I guess there is hope.

POW ERC20 is an Ethereum Blockchain asset or "token" Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency on the planet.Ethereum is slightly different to Bitcoin in that it is designed to allow 3rd parties (such as POW) to create 'Tokens' which piggyback on the Ethereum Blockchain.

guys do not you think something wrong happened with your facebook ?
what i mean is my facebook changed its email, and i used that facebook to claim the token.
so anybody here have an issue like me ?
i do not think i ever used my facebook out there and only use it to claim the POW.
it's not scam but more likely they're trying to collect our facebook.
