Very important. A product is what determines if a coin will last long in the market or if it will die out. If there isn't a good product then people would not use it which affects the value of the coin.

This also. Without a good product, there is no way that a project can be successful. People will find out eventually that the project is useless and they will leave. The project will crash regardless.

Products are the key to turning the tides of the company who have developed it day and night to make a profit out of it and make sure it changes the playing field. An ICO without a product is no ICO at all and not worth a damn about investing. Might as well buy gold and hold it for yourself.

Usualy projects collect money for making product. if project already has a product, may be their product has less demand and they make ICO only because ICOs have a big hype and project wants to draw attention to their product which is not interesting in real world.

Product concept is very important for ICO project because without a great product the project would not succeeds, many projects without good product concept have failed because investors have refused to invest their money on such bogus projects
