I do not think it's worth buying such a coin or do not think that it's worth buying fake coin. The most important thing to ask yourself a question. What does this project carry in itself? What purpose does he pursue?

it seems to me a little less able to understand the definition of the fake coin you are asking. but i will try to answer it. if you intend to buy the coin, look at the background of the coin on their website and you can also see how the coin is developed for the future. and buy on a reliable exchange place.
that's just my experience.

I think there is no such thing in cryptocurrency. I believe that as long as the coin you hold can be trade it is real one. I think the one that makes it "fake" is that fake advertising like what happened last year, a certain website claiming that bitcoin can be bought there but in reality they are selling bitcoin cash which is for me a hoax.

What is the definition of a fake coin according to you?

A coin that is real but is using the btc name and posing as btc?
A coin that doesn't exist at all?
A coin that claims to be the next/new btc?

Do research about the project/coin. Some of these are just collecting informations or otherwise scam. Put extra precautions when you find one.

I just saw this somewhere on the internet. Are there any fake coins existing? How do you avoid buying fake coins?
