@Kemarit & crwth ,I would say Conor and Mayweather are geniuses in making this fight happen,Dana White thinks Conor will fight in the UFC for $3 to $4 million this year after getting a huge pay day of over $100 million,i do not see Conor coming back in the UFC,they knew they had an opportunity to make a billion dollars with a single fight and they are going with it.I cannot dream of making these kind of money in my life time they will be earning that in a single day.

@pereira4 It is time that McGregor show some guts to defend his belts,do you really know that he has not defended any one of his titles inside and outside of the UFC and you will never be considered as a champion if you really cannot defend your belt.The fight against Mayweather will make him millions and i am sure he might retire after the match without defending any of his belts.

We all know that Mayweather is a gambler as well and he used to bet huge amount on football. So my guess really is this fight is for all the spectacle and for the money. He is still greedy as hell and he wants to accumulate as much money as he can so that he can continue to live the lifestyle that he currently have for life. This is a win-win situation for both for them specially on the part of Connor. But I think Mayweather will win this fight, although I love to bet against him because for sure the odds will be very good.

If you are ambitious there's no such thing as enough money. The guy is smart so he's calculated in his gambles, I guess he consider it safe to fight once again against Conor for a massive payday even tho his legacy is on the line.
Yeah you are correct that he doesn't need money. But I think he will fight for what else reason, just for the money. He think that this is a easy fight and he will earn more than we he got from Manny P. He is very smart indeed. People love to see him lose, so I think this will be sold out again and the PPV will break the record that he set with Manny and he can claim that he is the best ever.

I doubt Mayweather would bother to put his globes on unless he was going to fight. This is further proof that he is keeping himself active for the potential fight. I think the fight will happen this year, or May 2018 since the Canelo-GGG fight is scheluded for September and Mayweather only fights in May or September.

Ok this is pretty much confirmed at this point. The deal has been signed by McGregor, now we are waiting on Mayweather to sign the deal and then it's on, possibly september 2017.
McGregor will get slapped around for 75 million and he'll make more money in a night than the entire UFC rooster ever.

I dont think the fight will take place though. Last I head that Mayweather, even though he started the trash talk but he's not very keen on fighting anymore and I'd say that it's a wise decision. He's 40 and retired and living a good life. No point getting back and taking a chance on his legacy(in worst case scenario). Dude check the news. It's pretty much done at this point. Mayweather lost money recently, a big amount in some bad deal, this fight is perfect timing to get his money count back to where it was before that bad deal. He also wants the perfect 50-0 record.
McGregor is up for a big payday, he could retire forever after that fight.
Both sides have an incentive to do it.

Many people are waiting for this match up, there are many people hoping to break Mayweather's record especially when he fought Manny Pacquiao, though Pacquiao lost. Either way, I will be berring for Mayweather in this fight, I think he has the upper hand.
People are looking at the wrong person here if they want to see mayweather's streak get broken. I don't think it will ever be at this point as he's getting old and probably will be fighting for added wealth with opponents that he can surely beat. Sadly, connor would be included as comparing their styles, and with how it's most likely to be played out, Floyd would easily beat McGregor.
Not only that. He will beat Conor in a boring fashion. But is Conor good enough to get in Floyd Mayweather's head by talking trash to him months before the fight? Would it cause the same mistake Jose Aldo did? Maybe Conor's real fight will not start in the ring but outside.

Floyd will easily defeat Mcgrgor in straight up boxing and the best chance Mcgregor got is to finish the fight within the first two or three rounds and if he is not able to do that then it is going to be a long night for Mcgregor as he will school him for the rest of the rounds until and unless Mayweather wants to finish the match.

I saw that match b/w Mayweather's vs Pacquiao. I am not a boxing lover, but this match was big news in our country. The price of this match also very huge am I right? This match happened early morning 4 AM in our country timing I watched this game but not that much interested. I seriously not understand how they calculate points.
