The local tabs update came out really well and fit in well with the streams and everything. Congrats on the work. Also, the dark atmosphere at the top of the tower was impressive. Again, congrats on the art!

Wow you have really done a great and wonderful job, this work of yours is wonderful, well done, however i will like to make a suggestion, i think one thing that is missing in this great art is the color that symbolizes Bitcoin which is the orange color, we all can agree that anywhere Bitcoin appears that orange color comes with it and is a color that symbolizes Bitcoin, and i think it should also appear very well in this great and wonderful art work.

Those white color that circled that B which represents Bitcoin should be changed to orange 🧡 color, when it is done anyone that looks that it will know immediately that the art is about Bitcoin.
My thought.

Today, I'm not replying to above comments, because I feel the update below already answers them.

VISUAL UPDATE #6

I reworked the "Local" and the "15 years" areas and made lighting a bit more dramatic.

Closeup on the Local area:

First, I want to remind everyone, that this is still concept art and the final version will take a different, more painterly and finished look.

REWORKED LOCAL

I reimagined the discussed "Local" boards into a combination of illustrative and cryptic.

It begins at the bottom with parallel color lines going up, sort of like cpu circuits or ISBN codes.

Then the lines start spreading forming flags of Local countries, those that joined first at the bottom and working up to the latest.

The flags are visually mostly intact but also broken with light blue lines, connecting them and making it obvious it's part of a digital realm.

Further to the top the colors scatter more and this might help members find optional flags of their countries using a little imagination.

At the top right, the bluish lines merge into bigger ones, connecting the Local tpillar to the main BTC tower.
The "15 years" title is now placed under the big BTC.

The mining column now stops horizontally directly on the right of BTC, so it seems the tower grows, as Bitcoin progresses.

I believe this ties most suggested concepts together.

It will be a lot of painting work for me, but will look interestingly cryptic and individual Local boards will still be discernable.

I'm also still working on the overall style and adding details, but I think the composition is pretty much set as it is!

Today I have two requests for you.

1.) Remind me if I'd forgotten something or if you simply have anything else to add or comment.

2.) DM me easter egg proposals! Let's make this fun and not too obvious  Wink

We're almost there guys, this is becoming AWESOME!

First, take the anniversary number "15 years" and move it under the Bitcoin symbol.

In the place where "15" was, we put the flags of the local tabs and the "Other languages" tab. From what I counted, there are 23 local tabs + Other languages.

In the space that is now empty, I could put the flags that best represent that language. In my case, for example, it is Portuguese. But there are two major speakers of this language, Portugal and Brazil. As a tiebreaker, the number of inhabitants can be used. But you can think of other criteria as well.

the adjustment of the 15th to come under the Bitcoin sign is a good suggestion that kinds of gives direction to viewers while having a look at the art. It's more like the arrangement is showing Bitcoin @ 15 although the 15 isn't a representation of Bitcoin but Bitcointalk which if you're looking from that angle it would still be better to represent it the way it was originally placed at the side.

For the representation of local board, I still stand on my initial ground that a simple design that's less combasome be made to house all the local board instead of placing them in a box like container like what you represent thier. It not like doing it that way wouldn't pass the intended message, but to make it more matured a simple globe 🌎 with the color code of the current local board can be used.

To even make it more colorful, if there is a way of drawing tiny maps of individual local board accross the art in a faint manner, it would be a perfect option or to draw a single square and tiny maps of the different local board could be inscribed in the art. It's All about being creative with a design that's less literal but just maturedly gives a good detail of the local board.
Just as you guys have said it all talking about adjustment of the @15 this should be drawed in a kind of bold way for the viewers who are seeing the art  remember it is passing to them a message of the forums.

And also taking about the local board it should also be added to the art as well using a colorful design on it for people to see the unity in the forum.

**In BTC since 2013**
I'm giving the subject of representing local countries as well as the whole world a lot of time.

As there was a lot of positive incentive, I'm considering enlarging the chosen area on the painting as well as conceptually developing it.

I will make concept drawing of reworked "Local" as the main focus for the next visual update.

I think the idea of doing something to cover all local guides is great.
Because in reality the forum is made up of all of them, and they continue to be a means of continuing to make the forum grow.

Furthermore, it would end up being unfair for some local tab not to be included in the painting. And on the other hand, placing all the flags on the local tabs would create even more noise in the painting, which would not be possible.

A more global solution would be interesting.

I don't know what you already have in mind, but here's a suggestion:
The Earth's globe, powered by Satoshi's energy, where the continents would have this color/energy.

There is the report by @Rikafip about the local tabs and this can be explored too!

Can't wait to see the masterpiece that will be created by you, I believe you will deliver a great job, however one of the reasons we are here in this thread is to support in our own way by sharing our thoughts and ideas, so what ever you create we all will look at it and see if it's speaks want is need and if yes we celebrate and if it needs a little touch to make it perfect we also say it and that way you will create a magnificent art.

Now I see why the Art lover will said Art is the stored honey of the human life , I most confess this I was not really a lover of art work but honestly speaking this has really captured and inspired my heart well that aside, talking about the languages in addition to what @SuperBitMan was saying
It will be of great importance if all the languages are being all added to the great bitcoin art project so that people  all the world's can have the motivation of many and different language's in the forum working hand in hand together as one,to me I feel this art project will be more educational and will inspire people

What I was trying to say is that since this forum is something everyone anywhere in the world can see and get involve in, there should be an art created to show that the forum is a place that accommodate different people and different languages.
For example if you see this art 🌎 you will know is an art that represent the world in general and I believe you can create an art for the forum that will symbolize different nations and different languages in one something that as soon as one sees it, it will tell you that the forum accommodates different nations of the world and also languages.

I have been going through all your works and I most confess you are a genius, your single art works explain a lot of things and since art passes a message more better I so much love it, a single art work can pass a single message to different people that speaks different languages.
Art is powerful.

Hmm, this is a powerful thought, but also an ambitious one.
I'll think about a visual solution to this, if I can find one.

And thank you very much for your kind words about my humble art.  Cool

I'm just seeing this now and I went through everything and I most say you need a very good work, I never believed someone in this forum will do such a beautiful job, you have made this forum to be highly represented very well.
Art is very important when it comes to passing out a message using art works makes it more valuable and understandable, I love what you are doing and how you are going about it.
There should be a flag that we represent this forum as one with many countries and languages, a flag that tells that as soon as one sees it.
I think a flag like that will make the forum more unique.

Can you please expand on that?
It might be in the same wavelength I just tuned in just above this reply  Smiley

I think the space where Satoshi is located is very good. In fact, the whole picture is incredible, congratulations.

At the moment I can't indicate anything that I might need to change, I think everything is fine.
You even chose the Portuguese flag.  Tongue

Incredible work!

Thank you!

Love the piece. It feels representative of the forum and future of bitcoin and the world. love seeing the forum people represented. Nice work. look forward to seeing the finished product. I also love that every time you look you see something new. so if i could suggest anything it would be, MORE EASTER EGGS

Thank you, sir.
I'll try to include another egg or two  Cheesy

As always, great work you've got here 1Dq. I can't really add much than others have before me but would it make sense to include either of these ideas:

  • Hodling post mention[1] - Perhaps by not directly linking the post but trying to draw a little guy almost falling in the bitcoin symbol, but grabbing it to avoid falling? Would it be too much?
  • Theymos post that led to the submission of "Magic Internet Money"[2] - Granted this may be a bit hard to justify considering that it was on Reddit, but it did help Bitcoin get more traction.

Looking forward for the final result, keep it up!

Cool ideas, I'm definitely adding the hodl guy somehow.
As for the Theymos Reddit magic money thing, that could be another one of those slight hints a bit hidden maybe.

Your request is super valid, so I did one of these again:

Thank you very much, everything is clearer now! I will be waiting for the whole painting process! As you said, we will be able to have a better idea of what may or may not be wrong!

Great, I'll probably another one or two before finishing!

I don't know if this will be too much to ask but I'm considering a scenario where instead of representing the flags of just the first ten active local board on the forum, you include other local boards even though it's going to be a bit tiny. The essence will be to paint an all inclusive portrait where some aspect of the forum won't feel like they are left out. If we have represented newbies in the portrait then it's necessary that all local board gets a sense of visibility in the art. The remaining ones aren't that much, they could be added close to the meta section that's directly opposite the first ten flag.
instead of more of individual flags (which depending on resolution/size could be problematic) is there any other way to indicate this is a world wide forum supporting different languages and locals?
I can't think of a fairer way to list the countries. Since the anniversary is 15 years, let's remember the first ones who created the entire foundation for the other languages.

Hmm, maybe we could somehow combine both ideas into one visual solution?

like the way the Olympics used connections of five interlaced rings to represent the bond and connection of athletes accross the five continents, a combination as that could be used with color codes of all the local boards on the forum proper mated in it. An alternative option could be to mesh out an area that's spherical in nature like a world globe and which can contain the color code of the flags of the different local board on the forum or something that representa it well. I believe 1Dq knows how to better represent this idea.

Yes, another good idea.
Since I'm into "painterly coding" what if I made a cryptic universal code that would represent all countries, but have some extra exposed?
I'm not sure how exactly I'd do that yet, but I've some conceptual references to work with.

Another thing is that whenever you make a change, you could indicate it with an arrow, just like last time, because since the art is taking on large proportions and more things are always being added, it would be interesting to have an indication so that we can quickly visualize it and also tell you if it's correct, if it was painted/drawn wrong.

Your request is super valid, so I did one of these again:

Another thing would be the possibility of you showing the painting process, even if it's just a quick one. I think it would be interesting to see the digital transformation.

Definitely. I'll go step by step so you'll be in on the whole process.

This will also make it easier for you to point out things that need correcting while I'm still able to overpaint them.

Instead of questions I have one request today:

Please check and let me know if I missed something or painted it incorrectly.

I don't know if this will be too much to ask but I'm considering a scenario where instead of representing the flags of just the first ten active local board on the forum, you include other local boards even though it's going to be a bit tiny. Apart from that observation, every other detail looks okay and well represented in my observation.
