Weird.  blockchain shows this block: https://blockchain.info/block-index/1172054/000000000000000003ad0c3f1fd79c55acf4be284953b54d43f83080ae74433b

It's part of the main chain, and shows subsequent blocks.

But the two pool payouts (along with all the rest of the transactions in that block) are unconfirmed on blockchain even though they show in that block:
https://blockchain.info/tx/fff00092558b09d546c40651a3922807580bc32f9c8cc7be52ef97095b6ebda2
https://blockchain.info/tx/53f8e771879fd9b6cea7aea91fde43de5ff7aa8aaf15d2cea35af09b817dac99

Neither the block before it (or importantly) the block after it, show any issues with confirmations on the transactions.  I think we can file this in the already overflowing file of reasons to conclude that blockchain.info kind of sucks.  Sadly, my pool payout wallet is there.  Sad

I have 2 transaction  no confermation transaction 53f8e771879fd9b6cea7aea91fde43de5ff7aa8aaf15d2cea35af09b817dac99.. my address :(1BhXWZ3dHvMgQhRMxB4Wo1uS9h2pUZAJAc)
I would appreciate  some feedback regarding this matter thanks.

Hard to give any feedback with so little info...did you look here for status?

Appears that it's a local issue.

EDIT: By "local," I meant the wallet provider. It's been followed up on now. Good luck.

I've got two payments from the pool still showing as "pending" in my wallet. No confirms yet. Is there anything I've missed pool wise? Or is it just my wallet acting up. Two more payments after have confirmed no problems.

I'm in BTC XTC
I got an R4 coming that will, of course, be pointed here as soon as it arrives in a couple days.  I'll report how it runs compared to to my current S7, noise and heat and hashrate and power and aesthetics and... you get the idea.  I know phil will (eventually) have both R4 and A7(21) so he could do a direct compare between the two if he was so compelled...!   Wink
Mine on!

Meaningless speculations...'cuz I haven't got anything better to do... Undecided

Luckyant is back, probably on failover...and Canaan seems to be burning in a new batch...we're back at 40PH for the moment. Woo-hoo... Cool

EDIT:...and...luckyant is gone again...oh, well...  Cool

I used to have an Avalon6 before and I'm this friday or next monday receiving a R4. I know it's not the same but I'll have at least some kind of reference point.

As for the best home miner so far I must say that I miss my Antminer S2  Sad

I don't miss my S2...'cuz it's sitting on my "dead" equipment rack, and we see each other daily.  Grin  It was a good machine (my first BM piece...bought used from a fellow in Honolulu) and worked well for several months, although I had heat issues with it and had to do some off-the-books mods to keep it cool enough. The psu also died at about the same time that I was going to take it offline to replace it. If I had the amps (I have free power) I'd probably hook up a couple of the HP 1KW bricks I use to it and run it again. It was quiet...  Cool

Here is a piece of my mind regarding the A7 so far.

All units perform above expectations.

Average is 6.5 to 7 TH per miner.

Really love them.

Need to re-work the air flow and ventilation in order to switch on all units.

Contacted Canaan about only one issue which is that i found a loose screw inside a unit before switching on. They wanted the code of the unit. Looking forward to their reply.

Worth every penny I paid but I really want to know how it fares against the R4 in terms of reliability and heat.

Whoever has both units, please share your experience.

Well,I just got back fro MicroCenter with the missing pieces of hardware to complete a PC build I started a year ago. I bought 3 USB Drives and a 50 cake of 16X DVD-R as well. Maybe that will be enough to find a flavor I'm looking for. I think part of what I didn't like in Ubuntu was the Toolbar on the Left vertical side. Changing Themes would probably help but for a newbie it gets REAL with a QUICKNESS NOW.
You can put the launcher on the bottom in 16.04LTS. Here's the link:

http://www.linuxubuntu.org/how-to-move-unity-launcher-to-the-bottom-in-ubuntu-16-04/

You can't do it, though, in earlier versions (to my understanding...I tried).

EDIT: That is, move the launcher to another place. Earlier versions were on the bottom anyway.  Undecided

Hi All,

Was wondering is there anything i can do with my S7s and S9s in terms of optimization?

Not much I guess, but have a look in the appropriate HW threads Smiley
