Ein Fan bin ich davon nicht und muss sagen dass ich mich auch umschaue wo ich sonst meine Coins kaufen kann...
Klar gibt es zig Exchanges aber war echt mit Kraken sehr zufrieden...

Offensichtlich verschickt Kraken seit gestern diese Email an ihre deutschen Kunden. Was hat das zu bedeuten und was denkt ihr darüber? Ich hatte bisher eigentlich einen guten Eindruck von Kraken, das klingt aber jetzt gar nicht mehr gut.

You will have until June 14, 2024* to provide this information and re-verify your account or your open positions will be closed and trading will be restricted.
This partnership will require you to consent to DLTF processing your personal data for the purpose of complying with GDPR (see DLT Finance’s Privacy Notice. As a legal requirement, we also need you to re-verify your identity and provide additional information.

Changes to Crypto Services
DLT Securities GmbH and DLT Custody GmbH have been authorized by BaFin to provide digital asset brokerage and custodian services. As a result, some crypto services for German clients will be impacted, including slightly reduced asset support (including NFTs). The Terms of Service can be found at xy.
Changes to Fiat Services
Payward Ireland Limited, trading as Kraken, is authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland to provide e-money services throughout the European Economic Area. This means that Kraken looks forward to continuing to expand our cash funding options to make your experience better than ever before. For more information on e-money services and what it means for you, please see here (linked). From July 10, 2024*, you will contract with Payward Ireland Limited for fiat payment services. In order to facilitate your continued use of fiat payment services (bank deposits and withdrawals), Payward Ireland Limited will process your personal data as data controllers in line with Kraken’s Privacy Notice.
What if I don’t want to transfer to Kraken powered by DLTF?
If you do not wish to transfer to Kraken powered by DLT Finance, your open positions will be closed and trading will be restricted from June 14, 2024*. You will be required to withdraw all fiat** and crypto assets from your Kraken account before July 10, 2024*. If your assets are not withdrawn before this date and you do not wish to transfer to Kraken powered by DLT Finance, you must contact Kraken Support to close your account and withdraw your assets.
NOTE : Even if you do not transfer to Kraken powered by DLT Finance, you will, from July 10, 2024, contract with Payward Ireland Limited, trading as Kraken, for e-money services as more fully described in (* [Annex G of the Kraken Terms of Service. To reflect this change the Kraken Terms of Service will be updated to include Annex G (Payward Ireland Limited’s services) and add Payward Ireland Limited as a Kraken service provider for e-money services. If you do not transfer to Kraken powered by DLT Finance by July 10, 2024* and you have not closed your Kraken account, you will be deemed to have agreed to the new Kraken Terms of Service as of that date.
