I don't think KYC for airdrops offered is fair for those who joined. Some ICO with airdropping is not also fine to get KYC for tokens worth almost nothing or a burger meal is not really fine. I observed it in some ICOs with airdrops that even with giveaways like that so small needs KYC? Don't fall for it guys, not worth it.
No i don't want to share my identity just for a little bit money. You need to think twice if you want to share your identity because they can use your id for something bad, "Who knows?".

I try not to participate in airdrops, and in those who require KYC I do not want to participate in twins. I don’t want anyone to show my passport or driver’s license. I prefer pure anonymity, even if I don’t pay dubious coins to reveal my identity.

requiring users to pass KYC for airdrops depends on the project target.
1. They might be offering coins/tokens worth a huge amount ($50-$100), and the project might no t be hosting a bounty campaign

2. They want to curb the rate of multiple accounts

KYC for airdrop is not really needed. All the scams will use your identification for other harmful and bad purpose.

Kyc for airdrop is not normal. Now the average number of payments for Airdrop does not exceed $ 10, and then if you are lucky, so it’s silly to show your data.

If Airdrop uses KYC it is unfair because in the same way you pawn your life on someone else.
If your KYC is leaked by the airdrop then your life will no longer be. "Do not do it"
What do you mean by that: your life wil no longer be? Do you think that it is a real problem? That they can lend a lot of money with your identity? Wink

The research agency Comparitech conducted a study in which the company's specialists tried to determine the cost of passports of citizens of various countries, which can be purchased on the darknet. The study was conducted at the end of September of this year. The main part of the analysis was devoted to scanned versions and images of real passports. A total of 48 unique scanned versions of real passports were found, 38 of which were not accompanied by any supporting certificates or documents. These 48 copies of passports cover citizens of 20 countries. It was found that the price of a digital scanned copy of a passport is, on average, only $ 14.71. If any documents confirming its authenticity are attached to such a copy (for example, a photo of a real person with a passport, driver's license for the same name, utility bills), then the average price will increase to $ 61.27. The most expensive and at the same time the most common are Australian passports. For their scanned copies ask $ 32. The average price of a real physical passport is an impressive $ 13,567. At the same time, the average price of a fake physical passport is about $ 1,478.

its really absurd, for a lot of project to require KYC for a little bit of value of token.
its more like you sold your basic information as a person more than less than or below 10$
which is not really worth it, and the fact that we wouldn't know what would they do with a lot of information they gathered right

I am totally against the fact that airdrops require participants to provide KYC. I think this is obviously a scam. These people openly steal personal information from everyone. Have you seen a reasonable explanation for the requirement to provide KYC?

I am wary of airdrops for participation in which KYC is necessary. I usually do not participate in such. For the bounty campaigns, such a move is even less justified, there is more money there and the team ensures that real people participate in the bounty, without using multiaccounts.

KYC should only be for bounty participants not airdrops, that is no unfair because every airdrops have low payouts which is so low in value ,moreover KYC is not worth it in any way ,its against the law ,its risky to expose your identity to anyone

Yup. Not worth it to do KYC and expose your real world identity for a small bounty.
Be smart and cautious as well.

Many say that the airdrop is simply contained a coin deception and to no avail. When this need KYC certainly become quite considered because even the results obtained will not be dealt with risks that could be obtained. This personal data is personal and when abused will feel the loss of his own. Don't be easily tempted to big results in airdrop.

I hope it is a very bad idea to do KYC for Airdrops because they are collecting our information for the useless token because most of the token is useless. I have participated in many tokens which they are giving very low amounts to the participants which we cannot move those coins to the exchanges.

I think that it is stupid to send your personal data to no one knows where to get a small fee for it.

Moreover, I do not always send my data when I participate in a bounty, although there is some justification in the form of what can be earned well. And still there are big risks that your data can be stolen by fraudsters

No, don't. Most of the airdrop that are performing KYC is a scam airdrop. They will just use your credentials to other project, and worst is to stole your identity. Better back off to this part.

It is very useless if I have to do KYC just because of airdrop that will add little or nothing to me.earnings on airdrop is too little, why should we be wasting our time on KYC.
