Mine looks similar, but maybe a bit more stable, my miners have been in Chengdu for a while now.

The main response you will get is that if you want good performance to a pool, then pick one in China, anything going outside the Great Firewall of China or Golden Shield is going to suffer performance degradation or even blocking.

http://risnews.edgl.com/retail-news/Jumping-the-Firewall--Keys-to-Delivering-Web-Performance-in-China95422
http://speedprofs.com/china/
etc

You could set a secondary pool in such as Antpool or f2pool and capture the hashing power lost to the main pool there.

Just the hazards of hosting stuff in China I am afraid. Not a lot Lee can do about it.

Well, mine was also moved from Neimeng to Chengdu without any questions or notifications... And now it's switching between the pools very frequently. Here is what it looks like :

pool1

pool2

I'm using my proxy as pool1 which pointed to eligius, and pool2 is also set to eligius. Also there is even some work leaking to pool3. So i'm also confirming that something is wrong.

Here's an example of the quality of the connection after the maintenance was over until now:

When they leave this graph, most of the time when the miner itself is not having an issue, it ends up at f2pool. The connection I want to keep is in Singapore. The dotted line is at 1.01TH

Carl, aka Sonny :)

Sorry to hear that...I hope it's not the start of another unscheduled maintenance session.

Maybe they were cutting costs, and now all Neimeng miners are at Chengdu? Always ready to spin conspiracy theories since no one, that's speaking up, seems to have a miner at Neimeng now. I wonder what the actual different is/was.

What else would explain these problems except too much data trying to get down a pipe that's too small?

i have miners at neimeng.
Thank you, good to know. Now I want to know why some of us were punished by having our accounts go to Chengdu.

All my miners are up, but the connection is still crap, but better than the crap it was. We need some heavy duty explanations in a child's three word sentences, if need be, so we can all understand what is said. I'm thinking google translate will translate their Chinese better than they can type English. So I feel free to type in Chinese, Lee.

It suddenly hit me...with all 15 of my miners recently moved to Chengdu, this maintenance will cause me to have the first 24 hour stretch with 0.00000000 BTC earned for $0.00 since I started mining over a year ago.  I have never had a whole day with 100% downtime before.

Li, I want 7 of my miners moved back to NeiMeng after this maintenance is over.  Then I would have approximately half of my miners up and running while these regular unscheduled maintenance sessions are going on.  Having all of my miners in one data center is a disaster.

I guess I was wrong; everything came back online in time to catch a piece of the last 2 blocks of the day...to collect 0.00745455 BTC worth $1.76 between 15 miners.  My streak of never having a zero day is still alive!

It's one of those things that after 24 hours people start wondering what the heck is going on. Anyone get an email on this?

2015/5/4 20:41:45   Chengdu Data center will do maintenance on 5/5/2015   The maintenance will start from 8:00 and end at 20:00(Beijing time, GMT+8)   李培才

This all the information we have. Was suppose to be 12 hours.

Response I got from an email to Lee short time ago:

Chengdu network maintenance, the original two at ten o 'clock this evening will be ok, but not, now is still in processing, downtime, compensation, we will have the last day of each month we will have for your downtime schedule, this month will agree to give you compensation, please rest assured

17 hours and still no life from the Chengdu data center.  How much longer guys?

The AntPool is at 23 blocks in 15 hours...146%.  The beatings will continue until moral improves.

19 hours.. 5 more to go
