Inter Milan defeated Cagliari with 3-0 goals and become top second ranking team in the qualifying table with having 40 points as well as they continuously won all of last five matches. Atalanta currently standing top with 41 points after Playing 18 mathes, but Inter Milan still have a match in hand. So there's good possible that inter milan can become a topper team if they draw or win the next match. Well Cagliari Showed good effort in first half against Inter Milan and that's why no goal was scored within that time. Afterwards, some changes was happened what seems made Inter Milan more strategies and dedicative from before. Which was cause a first goal scored by A. Bastoni's head at 53th minutes behalf of Inter Milan and afterwards a smooth goal was scored by L. Martinez at 71th minutes. And once again Inter Milan got an opportunity for plenty and  H. calhanoglu successful dome it at 78th minutes and finally Inter Milan won the match with big difference which can be considered as big achievement for them

Atalanta have 0 Serie A trophy in their history. They have a huge chance to go for the 1st one this season. Honestly I would love to see it.  Roll Eyes  Napoli quenched their thirst for a league trophy after 30+ years. Why wouldn't Atalanta go for the first ever one to make history?

I think winning the scudetto is Atalanta's next ambition, nothing is impossible if they are able to maintain their consistency, last season they were able to win the Europa League title, why can't the domestic league? Of course Atalanta have that opportunity considering their impressive performance this season, but Napoli and Inter Milan are still a big pressure for Atalanta at the top of the standings because they are close with a small difference in points, a small mistake will knock Atalanta out of the top position.

Congratulations, you saw us really well and well done.
I have to say that i am really feeling sorry for Milan, the beauty of it is that in theory they are strong and sometimes they win in a spectacular way, sometimes they lose and play terribly.
Very inconsistent, i honestly find Lazio better than Milan
In the past, AC Milan was team that was really concern for other big team here, now they are just team that is ignored or there is no concern whatsoever for AC Milan can make it difficult for several other team in their efforts to win the title, even AC Milan could lose ticket to the UCL competition next season because if they want to get it they have to be in the top 4.
Lazio is stronger than AC Milan, that is true statement for now, next AC Milan will compete against Roma and they play at home for an advantage that can make it easier for them to play well, looking at the game statistics and the condition of both teams I will guess AC Milan will only end this match with draw.

I can see why these things may look different to many, but at the end of the day we are going to see experience take over. Neither Atalanta, nor most of Napoli have experience at the top that much, Napoli at least has a few, because they won it a few years ago, but Atalanta has zero experience at the top, so Inter with the experience they have, could end up doing a lot better by the end, I am expecting at least a five point gap at the end.
It is not always the case that past experience can make a team in a domestic league always be as glorious as its golden era. The same goes for other teams with less experience and less history. Both Atalanta and Napoli can still stay at the top even though they have less experience like the teams you mentioned.
Napoli have answered what you are talking about. Atalanta have also proven that they can win a competition when they think they are a team that is unlikely to win the competition. Instead the team with the most history failed to go far in a major competition.

I still think people are overreacting on this "competition" at the league, I do not think there is one like people claim, Inter is doing fine and they will most probably win the league yet again.  I can understand why people may disagree on that, which is fine but at the same time Inter is doing fine enough that they do not have anything to worry about.

I thought about it and I also think that Atalanta can win this league because they are going to the top with Inter Milan this season. That's why we underestimate Inter Milan compared to Atalanta. Atalanta should maintain their strength which should lead them to win the league.

Of course, Inter can't be underestimated even a bit. It would be a huge mistake especially considering that they are the last champions. Moreover they won this trophy for 20 times until now. We are talking about a huge experience also. Right now they are 3 points behind the leader but with a game missing. Simone Inzaghi has built such a wonderful club.  Smiley  Even in a season that they can't get enough contribution from Lautaro, they still just move on determinedly.

This is the best Serie A season in years and I can say this loud because I've been watching Serie A for more than 1 decade and this season is indeed very special. I also hope that Atalanta will become champions at the end of the season and will produce a big surprise like Leicester did in 16' in Premier League because let's be honest and admit that no one really expected to see Atalanta having such a great team , playing such a splendid football but also able to score against anyone at this point.
I don't think the others will be unhappy if Atalanta wins, in fact, there would be some sort of turnover at the top
I think it's really nice to have a championship where you don't know who could win, rather one that already written, if we want to say
I don't know if you even like something like that!
First of all, Juventus and Milan will definitely be happy for sure because considering Inter is the other candidate, and they are one of the leaders of this league, I would say Inter not winning would be an ideal situation for them.

The only teams that would be upset could be Inter and Napoli. Inter because they are still close and they are a big team spending a lot of money so they would rather win it, and Napoli because they were leading for a long time, for like 10+ weeks and now they are not but they are still pretty close, so they have a chance. Rest won't care really, those two are the only ones I can think of, which is fine in this kind of league, plus we are talking about a big competition between at least three teams, which is fun.

This season, if we want to say it out loud without fear of saying nonsense, is a very special season
There are many teams competing for places in the cup, they are fierce and they also play well
just consider that we have Atalanta, Lazio and Fiorentina in contention, who weren't so scary last year
this justifies the less than excellent results of the big teams

it's true what you say brother giamangiato, i also find it funny to watch matches in this way, even if I'm a weak football supporter and i would never see it on my own
but when i am with the friends over a beer, perhaps at the pub, II has to admit that it's nice to enjoy the twists and turns

Indeed, as the top Serie A team that Milan has low points but even so, I think there is still a good side also for the results Milan has in the first half of this season. At least, Milan managed to beat Inter and also managed to beat Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu with a score of 1-3 and yes, although Milan is still seen as bad but at least there are still good results too that can be proud of. After all, for me Verona is also not a completely weak team even though indeed, Verona is in the bottom zone of the standings but most importantly, Milan still managed to win with clean sheets compared to Juventus  who can still concede against Monza the team at the bottom of the table.

The Inter of before is certainly starting to return, they had a moment of crisis but they are recovering. Instead Lautaro seems to have disappeared from the radar, but what is happening to him?
He doesn't score anymore, has he broken like an old toy? Strange...
Lautaro Martinez's performance has indeed declined significantly this season, usually he is able to score goals in every debut, but unfortunately now he seems to have lost his productivity as a striker, only able to score 5 goals in 15 matches and that is a bad statistic last season he was even ranked first in the top scorer list but now he is not nominated what happened to him?
However, even so, Inter still appears strong even though their attackers have declined, there is still Marcus Thuram who can be relied on by the team, he has scored many goals so far.

absolutely yes, a real disappointment from a footballing point of view
Thank goodness i aam not an Inter fan otherwise i would be really annoyed to see a player like that, paid very well, who doesn't make any money, i honestly don't understand

Atalanta this season is very ambitious to continue to maintain its chances at the top of the standings. In addition, they also continue to test their luck in the Champions League. The top goal contributors are led by Mateo and Lookman, even occupying positions 2 and 4 on the top scorer board. Atalanta has a 2-point difference over Napoli and the 18th week will be quite difficult because their opponent Lazio this season is no less eye-catching.

I personally like Atalanta a lot, a team with their feet on the ground but who plays in a concrete and stable way, very well
I think we can all agree that he is well deserving of first place for his consistency and perseverance!!! i think you agree with me

Milan won the game, but their gameplay was a disgrace. I see nothing improved from their gameplay so far. Their bizarre tactics are a problem. A narrow win against a relegation candidate is nothing to be proud of.

They won against VERONA! one of shittiest club in the league now. Hard to imagine how they can coup a better club than Verona. They're going to finish at the 7th if they keep play shit. The way they playing football is totally laughable.

True, AC Milan's game has really sucked lately.
I heard from a Milan fan friend of mine that he thinks Fonseca will be kicked out and they'll take Max Allegri again.
Very wise choice for this truly difficult period for Milan, which on paper has very strong players but is not performing

Definitely a great momentum for Inter, they won last week and now won in cup and they are going to go and win the league again too. I feel like they are doing amazing at this point, feels like it's a great situation for them. Maybe it's just me, but I am starting to believe that they will win the league again.

The main reason is that, the more time passes, the harder it gets for other teams to keep up winning, sure it's great to have a good averages for the first 10 weeks or so, it's harder after 15th week, but after 20-25 weeks passes until the very end,  it's troublesome. Most players are tired, some are injured, some gets cards easily, so all of it becomes a trouble and we should consider that Inter could be the one who keeps it going.

The Inter of before is certainly starting to return, they had a moment of crisis but they are recovering. Instead Lautaro seems to have disappeared from the radar, but what is happening to him?
