What valuable lesson(s) have you learnt from the crypto space in 2018 and how is it going to shape your involvement in the space going forward? Looking forward to your responses, hoping one or two persons learn a thing or two from them.

One of the most important lessons of 2018 is not to rush to invest. Coin after some time can cost much less. I learned this lesson from my own experience.

I think the main lesson that can be learned from the whole of 2018 is that what matters more is not the quality of the projects, but the market trend. After all, if we know what the bear market trend will bring us, we would reconsider many of our actions.
A weighty answer, of course, today every person who participates in cryptocurrency trading understands that you can earn money even in a bear market, but of course there are also a number of rules here and the most important rule is that you don’t have to be greedy.

the valuable lesson that I got in 2018 is that there is nothing eternal, and life revolves, there are times when we go up and there are times when we are down, but as I said, it will not always continue, bitcoin will definitely rise again . even to a higher price than before, now only can wait and be patient.

The lesson which I had learned this 2018 was that we need to become more resourceful about the coin we are going to invest in every project, then we shouldn't get easily attract in every promises that will be given to their project campaign and last but not the least, we must check first the background of the coins, team behind of it and etc.

Patience is the biggest lessen I have learned from crypto in 2018. Few months ago, one of my coin dropped price mad, it lost 90% value from the peak price The dev team tried to encourage everyone to hold the coins, he told us there would have good news  in few months, but most people like me got panic, and we sold the coins for cheap price, now the coins start recover and it rise back again, I feel so bad when I see the price increase, if I have hold the coins for few months, I can make good profit.

The things I learned in 2018 are the basics and strategies for trading because basically my trading strategy depends only on the length of time holding the token but for 2018 I don't find it because almost all of my assets have very bad value so this strategy will not valid for this year if I still survive for 2019 of course a disadvantage for me because for the past 1 year many tokens have experienced high prices but I didn't make a sale because I have a long term statement but it turns out that all tokens are at the highest point at that time.

1. Buy low, sell high.
2. Cost average isn't only for bear markets, the one thing I did right was that I SOLD crypto every month of the bubble, going upwards. Regretted during the bubble, loving the decision now.
3. The average crypto investor is insanely emotional and immature. If you're not one of them - you have no excuse for not making money in this market.

Learning to be able to understand the situation to be able to make the right decisions, I think that's a lesson that can be learned from crypto in 2018. Because we often hear that opportunities will never be repeated or come for the second time, but of course we all hope crypto will give us happiness in 2019 which will come with an increase in prices that can give us profit.
It is hope that today can really help, because everything else has already gone, in general, like our deposit, which could very often be increased or at least fixed, but the most greedy remained.

I have learned that in crypto, everything can happen fast. Cryptocurrency can go down to almost 100% of it's recent value, and you can either earn or lose everything in a small span of time. I've also learned to be patient for you not to make foolish decision. I have learned an expensive lesson this year since I've lost a lot of money in the bloody market.

There were several lessons from crypto currency I received, first of all, don't put all of your funds in 1 coin, second is that you might store your funds in a secure way and third one is that scam are around us and everybody can cheat you even if ICO looks promising!
I believe a huge number of investors are losing their money with their investment into ICOs projects this year. Due to the bearish crypto-currencies market, a lot of ERC-20 tokens are basically worthless at this moment, so investors who are still holding multiple ERC-20 tokens in their wallet would have a negative portfolio and it would even be harder for ERC-20 tokens to rise in values as compared to bitcoin.

If we want to get rich with great profits, we can invest in the long term with the right price, if we have good time, we can invest in the best time. But I think, investment we also need a good strategy for that and waiting is necessary for each strategy Wink

One of this biggest lessons I have learned from cryptocurrency is Patience and that has bring about me holding my coins even though I am not even used to long term holding, but now I can hold for a long time.

It's not just patience to invest, we need to wait, but wait is part of the strategy. Set up a safe, accurate and profitable strategy so that your wait will produce a better result in the future, in your policy Grin
Always have sets of plans, don't be stuck with only one strategy but multiple and anticipate possibilities, if you have extra alternative plans you can react properly and you will be at the safe position, the market still volatile and from the previous runs we do see lots of fluctuations and really huge downfall, learn
from it and assess deeper then execute your plans.

Yes, i have learned a lot this year about crypto and its environment.
Especially that nobody should trust, because there are a lot of scams in the crypto area.
If there were less scams in the crypto area, the acceptance of crypto would be bigger.
I've learned that patience is really important when do holding and wait for the rising of price in the market. Also I've learned that is not easy to know if the coin is worth it or have potential because there is a time can encounter a buy a not profitable. And also I've learn that we need to learn how to analyze the project before we participate.

Yes, this year has entered a lot of new investors, usually they are losing money. I also lost a lot of money this year. I don't think I should invest in ICO, don't play gambling games, don't buy unknown coins. These are my experiences. This is a cruel lesson.
Facebook Inc., which is secretly developing its own cryptocurrency, has recently begun to significantly expand the blockchain staff. In addition, the American crypto money exchange Coinbase returned the option for customers to withdraw funds in the cryptocurrency through the payment service PayPal. It seems to me that this information should encourage investors.

Are you sure about facebook developing their own coin? Of course you can't provide a link because its secret Smiley

The whole year of bear market had terribly made investors running scared. Its then they realized thier money was gone when all awhile they were hoping to profit thousands if btc gains from $19k to $500k.  Lesson learned: Settle for less.

Crypto world has a very big potential to change anyone's lifestyle. When i entered in this crypto market in December 2017, that time market was on its all-time high position. And that time i done many faults because i had not any proper knowledge of crypto industry.
But after that i am spending my time to understand crypto currencies by blogging and taked different-different lesson's from here like:
1. Without proper knowledge we are just zero in this crypto industry, so first of all we should take good research about crypto currencies and without knowledge do not make any coin trading.
2. We should always diversified our fund in different big potential coins or projects and does not invest in cheap wasted coins.
3. Always make a target price of our purchased coin and when it will reach on our desired price, then immediately sell them and not to be greedy for more growth.
4. If our buying coin or token is down from our buying price then take patience and wait till it will not bounce back to his top price, but do not sell them in any condition.
5. Do not expect to get huge profits in very short frame of time.
