I agree with this. Scrypt-Minining is somehow dead. Litecoin was still benefiting a lot of his role "silver to Bitcoin gold". But this is bullshit. Litecoin doesn't offer any advanced features like newer Altcoins or allow smart contracts like Ethereum. The time of Litecoin is limited, it will lose further attention and will fall out of the Top 10 within the next 1-2 years. It's just a dino.

Judging from the reddit discussion they are still at it,and will likely be a strong alternative to bitcoin I myself had a few litecoins and working on faucets,and a lot of faucets are being created dedicated for litecoin .Like what one their developers stated "Litecoin represents an alternative currency that is supported by a different set of developers and protected by a different group of miners. sure i have noticed this there are high amount of ltc doge and dash faucet new faucet and i must say if you used them all in 24 hours you can achieve quite sum i must say

If the bitcoin cannot reach consensus on many things, it might die. So it is opportunity for litecoin to be the number one.
No merchant will ever step into litecoin. They will leave crypto alltogether.

Will be interesting to see what effect the expansion of Kraken into North America and the imminent adoption of Litecoin by the Gemini exchange has on price and adoption by payment processors. Always important to keep yourself informed of changes in crypto-space.
