My opinion in long term investment is you will have some chances to sell it when you see a good profit, and it is worth to wait than to sell it immediately. For example bitcoin is a long term investment, when bitcoin gets a huge pump it is like a jackpot. If i will choose in long or short term investment. I will go for long term, worth to wait, not so riksy.
I think Bitcoin is particularly suitable for long-term investments.
