i want to have more coins in long term portfolio,but at the moment short term is preferable,because I need money to cash out.

in my opinion the investment in the long term or short term both have advantages and disadvantages of each if long-term patience and confidence are needed very much because the risk is very large too of course If you have a big experience about trading you use strategy of short term, as for me I prefer long term because I don't have much time for this over my current job
It also depends on the person, I also do not have much time to monitor the price and the coin, so I always choose long-term investment plan will give us more profitable and safer , less headache, less fear when the market falls
Of course I choose a long term, to be able to make a big profit, of course we have to be long term, too risky if we rely on short term because the market condition is still negative.
I prefer the short time investment for Bear seasons because coins' prices are too wavy in bear seasons. Short time investments for Bear seasons and long time investments for Bull seasons because in bull seasons coins's prices increase all the time. This is very simple thing.

Right now, I'm hodling all the crypto before the dump from last year's bull-run. And those I'm thinking are the long-haul investments. As for the ones coming up, I'm pretty selective - too many shitcoins in the space now.

Short term is pretty risky when market is not stable and noone knows where market goes.In a bull market when everything is going up, it is easy to find some project which has good recent news and invest into it, after ATH sell and take profit.
in my opinion now, long-term investments will be good as the prices do not change much to play them
I look all the time. Even long term investments could gain more value if you sell on top and rebuy a little lower.

in a slumped market condition what I do is just hold it in the long run to get profit when market conditions begin to recover I think it's easy to get short-term profit
long-term is better, but that does not mean that short-term is not good, people who are good at predicting the situation correctly will prefer to do short-term trading

Long Term Gain

Short Term Gain
- A short-term gain is profit realized from the sale, transfer or other disposition of personal or investment property known as a capital asset that has been held for one year or less.
For me both are good but based on the situation. The Short Term Gain is for someone selling his coin with less than a year while the Long Term Gain is for someone selling his coin with more than a year. But mostly I prefer Long Term Gain because if you hodl your coin in a long period of time then the value of it will increased and you will earn much better than hodling your coin with a short period of time.
For short term trading you have to be knowleable in technical analysis to correctly identify indicators which help you to predict market trends. I guess there is more money in short term trading but you have to invest a lot of time in education and trading.

a trader will not mention which is more profitable between the two, because both have their own advantages at different times. a trader will use the long term when they experience more losses and they keep it until it returns. and short term maybe you already know it.
