Long term vs Short term
In my opinion, long term is less risky than short term. If you chose good coin u can get higher profit in loan term. it will gain more than the short term.
i can tell you some good coin. u can hold them 2 or 3 years or more.

Hi. For me, I invest in the well-being of my portfolio as it follows:

Short-term - IOTA, Ripple and Litecoin - all of them have a high potential in the short-run - low risk, high ROI
Long-term - definitely BTC and ETH - they are involved with high risk, but the ROI is immensely high after time, as seen by the latest news. Smiley

I think there is still a lot of good for short term investments other than ripple and litecoins. but both coins become a priority to be used as an investment material. for long term investment I think bitcoin and eth is very good.

Already thinking about what is best to keep at least a year, but watch out for the prices. Some altcoins can seriously take off. Try to hold and less trade

If you look at the development of coin prices in cryptocurrency is very interesting, so that investors have their own strategy. Some use short-term strategies to benefit some others who use long-term strategies to make a profit. That is why if you want to invest very important to do research on the coin that will be made a place to invest.

Personally, if i want to invest for a short term, the budget i will spend is 60% of my capital. During for his coin i chose bitcoin and bitcoin cash. And 40% i use for long term investment. For his coin i chose Ripple and Ethereum because his price is still a little cheap but has great potential in the future.

I hold a portfolio of coins: 80% of the portfolio in the long term and 20% in the short term. I try to trade for a short day in a day, so that coins change almost every day. It depends on the situation on the market. Both options are beneficial if you correctly allocate risk

A large part of my portfolio hold for them, about 80%. So that my profit increased X10 for six months. The market activity invest 20% of the Deposit and expand the portfolio. Basically this is a promising coins such as wgr, bnt, mgo.

I have similar strategy. Majority of my portfolio is long term. I can hold those coins till forever and minority is for short term trading. I sell when there is a pump and I buy when there is a dump.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

if you want to make double profit in your investments,, you can trade your long term coins in short term,,
sell in high then buy more in deep coins
so, you can increase the amount of your long term coins by trade it in short term

I guess it is still better to be in a long term investment. It is just for my own opinion, its just that you'll really see the profit or the interest you are earning from the money you have invested. And I find it in altcoins.

Both .

Eth and BTC for long term .
A few long term investments in altcoins I hope will succeed (ADA ,TRX ,IOTA ,EOS).
The rest ,i probably won't hold for long .It depends on how 2018 goes for the cryptoworld.

Long term - Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both are perfect assets.
Short term - altcoins like Ripple, Cardano and IOTA that are good for trading and buying something.

Best solution for everyone

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
Most of my portfolio is in long term gain, I play with around 20% of portfolio to trade short terms but not day trading. I am holding few coins for few days and than selling them for only profit, I have also bought many coins and holding them despite their price has dumped in last few months. I try to never sell my any coin for loss...

I prefer long term.Bc u buy coins for 100$ and wait long time,as experience shows
"Even a stick shoots once a year" Cool

The good thing about long-term investment is choosing wisely and buying bulk coins while it's cheaper and hold it like you almost buried it for your future self or family.
Like what I did in oyster-pearl (PRL) I invested when it was $0.0003 for $200 way back last month and now it started growing fast like a jaw dropping around $0.60 so I think I'm lucky having invested earlier than today.
I know it's for a long-term so now I'm spotting another cheap coins that has a unique project then decide to buy in bulk and hold it for the mean time.

Most of us want to be rich quick but there's no shortcut to be one even in an illegal way but if you want to be a skilled trader then cryptocurrency is best for you.
For me trading is one of the consideration as short-term because you wanna earn more money in a short period of time.
Long-term is my choice that's why I'm holding my coins as long as I can so that in time for emergencies, I could turn my coins into money no matter how much value they have.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

It depends, for ethereum and bitcoin, I'm always in long term. For some tokens, I'm in long term as well. For some other coins, I'm only holding them temporarily to have profit.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

Long term survival coins are best coins which can be grows in the market in the same time. Please choose the bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and dash are the perfect crypto currencies which can grows and survive for the long time. If you any altcoins which is now we can cannot say 100 percent sure that concern altcoin bumping for the short time. IOTA, CARDANO, WAVES, STELLAR and other cheap altcoins may have the potential but still it is good for the short term profit in the trading site.

For me high valued coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash LiteCoin and other expensive coins today are for short-term investment like if you want to start to learn trading. Top coins will offer high profits in a minimum of time if you're lucky but in terms of long-term investments, low priced coins will soon priced a hundred bucks after a couple of years or a decade so in the future your investments today will be the best and ultimate decision you ever made.
