to save energy and mind we better choose long-term investments in certain coins like bitcoin, ethereum because this coin has a good potential in the future.
for short term investment I like coins that are finished ICO because usually the price after appearing in the market will go down first

I rely on midterm investment, and I'm targeting cut loss 5% - 10%. And if I achieve 20% profit - 30% then I will sell coin.

It just depends how the progress of Bitcoin market is, because you can't just stick only with one term like long or short term. You might lose an opportunity to maximize your earning with lot of chance sell it on short or keep it in the future.

For me, Long term holding will make you more profit than short-term, but i do not invest all my fund for long term, i divided in to 2 part for holding and trading daily. I only focus on holding top 10 coinmarketcap.
coins in the top 10 coinmarketcap can be used as a coin investment because it has been met in qualifying prospects for the future. so I think it's good to hold long-term coins using benchmark in coinmarketcap.

I have diversified my portfolio.
For long-term- Bitcoin, Eth and XRP
For short-term - OMG, QTUM and Litecoin.

Bitcoin has proven to have great returns if you go for long-term similarly, Etherum is used by many DApp developers so it is in demand. Ripple is not really decentralized but it has many activities for 2018.

Long term - Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both are perfect assets.
Short term - altcoins like Ripple, Cardano and IOTA that are good for trading and buying something.

we always want to have quick money so we usually choose short term invest like trading, but i wont do this because it is risky to trade when we dont have much experiences, so long term investment like holding and investing ICOs will be better to have profit, but the problem is that it depends on lucks too much.

It seems to me that if you choose coins with a lot of potential, then with long storage they can give you much more than a day trade. Always there should be an investment portfolio for long-term storage

With high volatility even trading can bring you profits that might be equal as that from holding, but not a lot of people can do that. It depends on how much time do you want to spend.

If you are not a risk taker, buy and hodl.

Long term coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum for example are good, and i believe you will see most profits from there.

depending on the coin, maybe the safest long-term is Ethereum, Bitcoin and Ripple and short term you can look for altcoin that is being released and at the time the price is dump

Ripple is the most unsafe coin to invest in... last time went to 0.44$ in May and went down all the way to 0.1$ at some point. lost over X10 value compared to bitcoin until the recovery now which gods now how much it will last before Ripple (the company) sell their holdings ...
Yeah ripple is not safe to invest on longer term because I expect the price of ripple will fall down soon. And the ripple popularity is happening due to the problem of bitcoin transaction fee, once the fee got lowered in bitcoin the people will start using bitcoins and the price of bitcoin also will bump in the coming days.Already the fee got significantly lowered from the period of Christmas but many people don't use segwit supported wallets which gives lower fee than ordinary wallets.

The Long term is constantly more productive than here and now In the event that you have done some examination before venture. At whatever point I put resources into altcoins I intend to hold it for no less than three months previously offering and there are just couple of coins which I'm holding it for here and now and 90% of my venture are for long haul. Here and now is productive however not generally. I think here and now are for just whales and for beginner I encourage to stay with long term venture.

I think long term is more profitable if you invest in projects with a future potential and you trust in this projects. Usually in 1-2 years price of those projects go up huge.

I have around 70% in a long term folio and 30% at the short term one. When my short term portfolio grows up to 60-80% I redistribute funds to 70/30 again.
