Well as a passive trader I don't hold for a long time what I do most time is to hold for short time then sell when the market recover a little I sell and wait till the next deep before I buy again, but if you are just a holder you may just buy and hold for a long time when the Price get to your expectations you now sell you assets.

Long term can give you a high return of you investment but it will take years.  Short term is a quick  return in a lower percentage.  However, in altcoins, there are some that can give you a very high percentage of ROI in a short span of time.

It's hard to say, sometimes you are planning for a short term investment but the market decides otherwise by going bearish.  You then have to wait until the market is bullish again and it could turn into a long term investment.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

I prefer long term positions. Try to keepp funds in projects with high potential and very good basics. Regarding ETH - for me its for storage of value (due to its great stability). Don't like BTC cause its hard to move and it is better for people who want to store value with very low frequency of transactions.

In the world of digital money, investors have their own style. they are short term investments in the long term. My preference is investing in long term because I do not have enough time to constantly follow up.

Certainly longterm. Most who try to make money on short-term lose their money, because the market will take them all. Therefore, longterm is the best choice for those who want to save their nerves and money!

Marinecoin - Bitcoin and Ethereum have a bright future. But in that there are some limited bitcoin aspects of high transfer charges and speed isThey are giving away 9 billion coins.Payment System in Internet Artificial Intelligence (AI) of Things (IoT). time dilution technology. time dilution technology - artificial intelligence - self sustaining - community - fair distribution - iotBriefly, it is time tested fast and developed blockchain, many other features in itself. Even though briefly, it was historic. Do not leave a base or not join it we you for you you are best best for you.Their aim is creat a blockchain which is 5 times faster than Bitcoin. And one of the things that make me think this is the best ICO because they will give you free 20.000 token even if you join their ICO or not, just do some task for them and you get your token (20,000 will be airdropped to 20 000 first user; total token count: ~9 billion). You can register here: marineco.in/icoand I know that this kind of coin is very fast transfer and the transfer fee is very low. They are free and give 20,000 coins to those who apply for http://marineco.in and do some steps.

Depends on your investment plans and the goals you intend to acheive. short terms are fit for quick money making, not always a profitable but one can acheive and address financial needs within a short time. long term  on the other hand maximizes your returns over a period of time as the initial investment gains value with time and trades for higher profit margins.

I would probably reserve 30 percent of the funds for a long term investment, and most of the rest will be invested in short-term investments.

In my opinion, it is better to choose the long term because it will get over the short term. Many risk takers choose long term because they know that it can benefit them bigger. Or you can have a long holding period of more than 1 year.

I use more ways to invest in the long term because by way of long-term investments more provide a more satisfactory profit although it must take a long time what else in the current market conditions on average can say the market does not have a good movement so for me for now and with the current market situation the best way is to use long term to invest

My opinion is share it 50%: 50%. For the long term I will choose ICO and for short term trading I will buy altcoin which fluctuation is high

The real definition of long term and the short term will vary asset to asset I think. Because while I am trading and investing with crypto I noticed one thing that there is a one way movement for a fixed period of time and then rebound and go as it was. And this cycle of bearish and bullish takes place 9 months to 1 years. So, in crypto we can say the short-term is 3 months and long term is 1 year.

the long-term risk is much greater than the short-term. because we do not know the development of the coin in the future how. so this could be a considerable risk. so to anticipate being able to see and monitor the development of coins.

I'm long term investor, but there is small amount for short term, buying some coin and when I se %5-10 profit, I'm selling. But long term is good for me, I like this and there is les stress than short term.

I will take 15% as the break point for cut loss, I can't take much further than that. While making decision to short term and long term will related to the coins it self, if its worth for long term then I will hold them.

Long term holding i think is more profitable than short term investment because in long term we can wait for the right price before selling while in short term we dont know what will happen especially now that the price of bitcoin is unpredictable.

I used to go majorly longterm on seated good altcoins before but I have to modify my strategy a bit now. It's good to sell them when you see a very good pump and then wait for the dump to buy them back and you are still left with some btc profit.

As I would see it long haul venture is superior to anything here and now. I am holding long haul and here and now both in 80:20 proportion. Short terms are those which are new and exceptionally unpredictable, I get them at the tie of plunge and offer as soon they go on an ascent. Long terms are with great unfaltering development and can possibly become further.
