I think the answer to this question depends on if your a short term or long term investor in bitcoins or altcoins. Right now the current down trend is very bad news if your a short term investor, cos you can buy now assuming the prices are as low as it gets, only for it to go lower. but any long term investor will just patiently wait for the inevitable rise to come, even though it may take a while

When I see low prices in the market, i do get excited because although the value of the coins that I am currently holding might be dropping I also realize that a low market is the best opportunity for me to buy even more coins so I can make money from them in the long run and I hold them along with my other coins, I am patiently waiting for the price to dip again so I can buy more coins.
It is my tactic when i purchase tokens on the ICO. I was pretty sure that when I buy tokens and when it hit on the exchange surely the price falls hard due to some bounty hunters. My tactic is when its the first day on the exchange, I sold all my tokens on it. And just I waited for many days, and probably week. And wait for the price to really falls hard due to hunters. And when the price really on below, thats the time I will buy from it. In just doing that you can gain up to x100 profit.
