An interesting turn of events in the eastebourne atp tournament cressy made it to the finals which was unexpected, but the most important game is today fritz will face de minaur who has being not doing well in the recent tournaments but in this one he is really impressive, i will bet on him to win this one.
De Minaur on grass looks really good but got knocked out by Fritz today and we will see an intresting match by two Americans and really good servers. Both Cressy and Fritz serve really good and we will see probobly 3 sets in the final tommorow
I did not expect that outcome between fritz and de minaur they both played really well but fritz was slightly superior, as for the finals americans are really known for their powerfull serves, it was as you expected fritz won 2 1 i think experience at the high level played a good role in the outcome especially in that first set but still great work from both players.
Yea I was of 2 minds on who to back between Fritz and de Minaur, so I didnt bet, but I did back
Fritz in the final and yes it turned into a 3 setter
Tsitsipas has won the tournament. Final was quite fun to watch and it went on for a long time. The final set was decided in style by a tie break. Tsitipas was supreme in this and he won this tiebreak with no less than 7-2. Tsitsipas also has chances to get far at Wimbledon, which will start next week. I haven't seen the draw yet, but there are some dangerous unseeded players in it. you have to be lucky with the draw.
I really doubt Tsitsipas chances on Wimbledon, should be better than last year first round drop-out, but second week is too much for him
did not look at the draw, but as I heard he is within Nadal and Berrettini half, and either from two will easily kick him out
nevertheless, congrats on winning tournament, Agut is a clay specialist, as him, and final between them on grass is remarkable for both
Again I was doubting on who to back in that final too, Bautista Agut at his "home" tournament
ir Tsitsipas whom I have lost a lot on in the past, so I skipped it, well done to him.
Thats interesting though to see two clay specialists in a final on grass with decent players in
attendance like Medvedev, Kyrgios, Giron, Karatsev and Griekspoor. Those two may go far
at Wimbledon.
