And the next game for REal Madrid will not be easy either.
They will face Atalanta.

Atalanta performed extraordinarily in the last years but now they are probably in their best moment event.
It will be not an easy at all for the, at this point I think that real Madrid can only hope for the playoff.
, but the next game it will be the last call and possibility for them.
Sure they can beat Atalanta and gain the direct access for the second stage of the tournament with a qualify in the tp
Atalanta is among the teams I'm tipping to win the champions league this season if it misses Liverpool and Barcelona. Like you said, Atalanta is in their best form, even better than last season when they disgraced Bayern Leverkusen in the Europa League final. I see danger for Real Madrid because they need to win that match to remain in the round of 16 automatic qualification because PSG is seriously following them. Using the performance Madrid, I will bet Atalanta to win that match
In Serie A, Atalanta played consistently, even in all the matches they played, they got positive results and won their last five matches, it is not impossible that in the Champions League they will definitely be able to provide a victory making Atalanta in 5th position in the Champions League standings and they are also undefeated in their last five matches, so in my opinion, Atalanta is likely to be able to face Liverpool or Barcelona in the next match.

Turns out it only took one Conor Bradley to shut Mbappe down. We still forgive Moh Salah for missing a penalty, but I'm not sure Madrid fans will forgive Mbappe for missing a penalty. 3 points brought Liverpool back to the top of the table and now 2 leagues have been secured by Liverpool perfectly (Top of the Premier League and Top of the Champion League). A very special win for Liverpool as the last time they won was in 2009.
Mbappe had a disappointing performance in the match despite being played at his preferred position. He struggled to make an impact, frequently losing possession and his match rating was the lowest in the game. Overall it was a brilliant all round display from the reds. The team showcased outstanding team spirit, resilience and cohesion in the match. This victory further demonstrates Liverpool's growing status as one of the favourites in this year's UEFA Champions League.
That position is better filled by Vinicus than Mbappe because he doesn't see himself as a wing striker character, he seems to lose his way because several times dribbling always fails and is successfully broken by the opponent, so it is clear that his rating is the lowest plus a failed penalty.

Maybe now Liverpool's favorite in the Champion League is the top, if you look at the gambling bandaru with the bet, Liverpool is the winning option with low odds, because of the brilliant quality of the game.

It was surprising to see both teams not performing as well as usual, Manchester City only managed a draw against Feyenoord at home & Real Madrid lost to Liverpool. Due to the results in round 5, both teams are only ranked 17th (Manchester City) & 24th (Real Madrid). Luckily, they are still in the play-off qualification zone, unlike PSG who are already out of the zone. I think this season is a crazy season for some of the big teams.

If Real Madrid and Manchester City had no injury problems, the season wouldn’t have been easy for Liverpool. Manchester City won the treble and dominated the English Premier League for four seasons. No team stays at the top forever, there will be one bad season and City are having that 1 bad season after so many great campaigns in all competitions. I think Manchester City can definitely go without winning the UCL or Premier league for one season.

Last year, when Joselu was there, Real Madrid seemed to be playing better. Because there was no player at the center. This year, Mbappé is at the center and they try to send the chances to him. He often wastes the chances. Considering the criticisms this year, maybe it would have been better for his career if he stayed at Paris Saint-Germain. He doesn't play very logically in such a game at Real Madrid's level. Also, if Ancelotti is to be criticized, he should be able to take Mbappé out of the game if he is playing badly. Being patient with him for 90 minutes drove many people crazy in front of the TV like me.

No it would have been better for his career if he had not been that greedy and instead went to Real Madrid 7 years ago. Or maybe 5 years ago. But this only refers to his career because speaking about his life, PSG was the best decision he ever made as they made him almost a billionaire at such a young age. But for his career PSG was the wrong decision because he never played up to his full potential.

I think if he had now been playing in La Liga or the Premier League for the last 5 years or more, he would be a different player. Ligue 1 was a waste of time. Just imagine if you are one of the best players in the world, what the heck are you doing in France? Think about Haaland if he now went to PSG, he would never ever do that. It would be ridiculous to see him celebrate his goals against opponents that are so inferior. That is not what Haaland is after, he wants the challenge and you can literally tell from his interviews that he wants to be where the toughest and hardest football is played and that is why he went to Manchester City.

For over the past few season's Manchester City under Guardiola's watch, Manchester City has not faced with the kind of result they're getting in the past two - five games of their games, and it will definitely have a psychological effect on both the manager and the players, and affect their performance the more, especially when the taticts that was working perfectly seem not to be working at all, and witnessing your squad hit back to back draws and defeat as seen now, from one lose to one draw to another lose.
People fail to understand that in life whatever has a beginning also has an end. What we are seeing now is the end of of era. Pep Guardiola has led Manchester City to to highest level and just as the force of gravity, it's time to fall down. Check the history of so many top clubs they got to a height and began to lose their too performance. Mancity fans need to accept that the days of winning trophies every season are over. A team that gave out a three-goal advantage to an average European side is facing a serious problem. Pep should leave the club now the ovation is loud.

Sure. I can’t say this is the end of Manchester City because they are still not a weak team in the Premier League up until now; they are still doing well on their own; they are topping the second in the table, and you said that is their end? No. However, for any team that is doing well, the fans always happen to think that they will be in that situation for a long time, and that is what happened to Manchester City;

they have been doing well for a long time now, so just because this season is rough for them, they will comeback stronger. Pep Guardiola is a talented coach, and he knows what he is doing, although I know currently he is also finding it difficult to restore the team, but he will sure over come that.

Madrid were outclassed in midfield and were unable to control the ball well. Modric was dropped a little further back and that gave him a tough task to distribute the ball forward and also block the flow of Liverpool's attack who had good possession in midfield.
Madrid were outclassed in every way in the match, and it will be Ancelotti's job to solve their problems against teams in the Champions League. Will Madrid be like Man City?

If Erik ten Hag was to be Carlo Ancelotti, he would have been dragged and at same time called incompetent by moat of 5hese posters on here. Whenever a squad is not doing well, then the manager is doing something wrong,  lots blaming Kylian Mbappe and Co's but don't forget to look  at how the manager set his team up. I know he has a couple injured midfielders but props to Liverpool, they're officially the best club in the world.
People often forget that football is a team effort and it takes all sides of the team to work. When a team performs well the credit doesn't just go to one person alone, it's shared between the players, coach and the entire staff. Similarly when a team underperforms, the responsibility should also be shared. Real Madrid may be experiencing some difficulties at the moment but it would be unfair to totally blame Mbappe for their underwhelming performances. Football is a team game and the coach also plays a critical role in the team's successes and failures. Carlo ancelotti must access the squad's weakness and use the next transfer window to bring in quality players that will strengthen the team.

Real Madrid made a mistake by hiring Mbappe and spending too much money for a player like him. Real Madrid had a much better option but Real Madrid couldn't even use the penalty kick they had.

We wouldn't blame Real Madrid for hiring Mbappe because if Real Madrid had been this way without Mbappe people would have also been saying that Real Madrid made a mistake of not hiring him but however is as if he has gone from better to worst, I believe if he had scored the penalty real Madrid would have peak form since it was still 1:0 against them, perhaps if another player had taking the penalty it wouldn't have resulted that way.

After last season, when Real won almost every game they participated in and didn't lose in La Liga for almost a year, I don't think anyone would have remembered Mbappe. Mbappe's transfer was lobbied personally by Perez and it was immediately written that Ancelotti was not thrilled with such a purchase, but apparently he had no special choice and he is constantly trying to put Mbappe, although you can see that when Mbappe plays, Jude Bellingham somehow gets lost and it seems that the midfield and Vinicius try to play more on Mbappe, who constantly opens up on the flank and tries to escalate the attack, but Mbappe acts very selfishly, almost not giving passes to partners in the penalty area.

Last season Real were lucky with the purchase of Bellingham, but this time with the purchase of Mbappe everything has not worked out so well for Real.

I don't know why people are putting too much blame on Mbappe when we all know that a tree cannot make a forest. There's nothing Mbappe alone can do without the team complete first eleven. Because if you look at the game, you will see that it's the second choice players that Ancelotti used, and on a good day, he wouldn't have used these set of players if his first eleven are complete. The fact is that, Madrid lost because their players fit for the match are on injury, and Liverpool is super hot this season.
It is natural because if you look at Mbappe, he has not played consistently and has not been able to finish many opportunities well and he even failed to execute a penalty. However, if all the mistakes are blamed on Mbappe, I think it is not right because many Real Madrid players did not play well during the match. Real Madrid's condition will be even more difficult and they will have a very tough season now because their performance is not as usual.

Liverpool really took advantage of Real Madrid's weaknesses so they managed to win the match because in the previous season under Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool found it very difficult to win when facing them. Liverpool has the opportunity to be a candidate for the title because of the majority of teams, they are the only ones who have performed so impressively.

As we agree that Arne Slot brought Liverpool better than Klopp.
In my opinion, It is too early to say that Arne Slot has brought Liverpool better than Klopp. Slot inherited the squad that Klopp left, he also has not presented a single trophy for Liverpool. Juergen Klopp has contributed many trophies to Liverpool during his time as manager, the trophy correction given to Liverpool is very complete, during his time as coach, he has led Liverpool to win several prestigious events such as UCL, EPL, FA Cup, Community Shield, European Super Cup, Club World Cup and EFL Cup. So if you want to measure the level of success of Arne Slot with Klopp, he must be able to make Liverpool win several prestigious competitions like Klopp has done.

I agree with you, The comparison is too early, as Arne slot is still in his formative stage with the REDS, although it is safe to say that he has been able to improve from what he inherited from klopp, but making a comparison and saying Slot brought Liverpool better than klopp is a definite NO NO for me, Jürgen klopp spent almost 9 years with Liverpool and won lots of amazing trophies for Liverpool, in fact in recent times, he is the best coach so far to have managed the REDS.
Slot has been able to bring Liverpool in a positive direction with consistency and also a fairly attractive game scheme, but we must also not forget that the squad left by Klopp is a perfect squad with an extraordinary champion mentality, so it is not surprising if slot can adapt and also build the current Liverpool easily, but even so it is too early for us to say that slot is great after they beat Madrid,  Because however Madrid slump condition allows them to win easily in the match, currently Slot have a big challenge to bring Liverpool as a title challenger team, so with that we can say if the Reds are in the right hands now.

..................

Mbappe will always be the talk as usual as far as the expectations from him is high, just saying we never can tell if the pressure on him was what made him to miss the penalty but who's pressuring him in the first place when he has signed that this what wants, though I was just thinking much, be it as it may,  i hope he improves because realistically he isn't doing great for his club right now.

I just hope Mbappe can return to his best form as soon as possible, because right now Real Madrid really needs his ability to score goals and become a new goal machine for Real Madrid. Right now Real Madrid is in a vulnerable position to be able to go down to the relegation zone, while there are only three more matches left. and for the next they will face Atalanta, FC Red Bull Salzburg and Brest. And Atalanta and Brest are dark horse teams this season who are ready to make it difficult for Real Madrid to advance to the next phase, considering that Atalanta and Brest have played quite well this season.

As we agree that Arne Slot brought Liverpool better than Klopp.

Arne Slot has not been a season at Liverpool, then you say Slot has not presented a single trophy. Hey guys the season is still going on and long, the English League Cup has just entered the last 16, the English League has only played 12 matches and the UCL Cup is still in the qualifying round towards the last 16. The journey is still long, so wait until the end of the season and we will see what Arne Slot will present to Liverpool and the fans. But on the other hand when we see how Slot is able to maintain the consistency that Liverpool has, of course this is an extraordinary achievement, because not every coach is able to do it, and this deserves a thumbs up.

It's wrong my friend. Real Madrid was not getting him for free. Mbappe left from PSG as a free agent, but Madrid paid 180 million signing bonus to sign him into the squad. In conclusion, Mbappe was not free at all.
I think what you said is also true, because being free on a transfer fee does not mean the player is completely free. Especially considering the salary of a player like Mbappe himself, which is also not a small amount, so we don't have to assume that all of that is free just because of the free transfer fee. In addition, for now Mbappe has to work hard to maintain Real Madrid's strength besides he has to continue to adapt to the players in the Real Madrid squad.

This isn't true completely, Madrid doesn't have mbappe alone as the only player there in their team, they have got some other top good players who are supposed to complement him and he's needing some time to cope completely with Madrid and the Spanish style of football not just the pattern that he's been used to back them in France, moreover he's not acquainted with ancelottis tactical approach just yet so all the blame shouldn't be on mbappes shoulder, some should be shifted to the entire team and Coach.

I think the biggest problem is thinking that Mbappe is the best football player in the world. Yes, he achieved great success at a very young age, everyone thought of him as having the quality of Messi and Ronaldo. He was quite successful, but does he play well enough to save the whole team when something goes wrong with the team? People's expectation was that he would be a great star player, and when he came to this team, it was said that the biggest star in the world was coming. People do not like it when they see such a performance Smiley
The assumption about Mbappe being the best player in the world is not wrong and it is true. It does not mean that I support it but have players like Messi and Ronaldo never failed penalty kicks in the past?
On the one hand, I think Mbappe just does not have the mentality to be with one of the big teams in Europe even though he was initially very recognized at PSG, but in fact the competition there is not too strong.
So what Mbappe is experiencing right now for me is just a bad start but it will be a valuable experience. Just look at the next few seasons. We will see how Mbappe will be more recognized than now.

Real got Mbappe as a free agent so they couldn't refuse such a player. As for his game, maybe he is not at the peak of his form now, and this penalty could have affected the game, but failures also happen, Salah also couldn't score. Well, Liverpool is in better form now, it was evident from the game, maybe if Vinicius could play, then Real could achieve more in attack, but their defense was also weakened.

In that match, Mbappe and M. Salah both failed to take penalty kicks. But our focus is more interested in Mbappe's failure because Real Madrid was the one who lost. Maybe if Liverpool lose then our focus will also shift more to Salah. And yes, missing a penalty kick is normal.

Yeah you are right about that because even if the outcome of those penalties was the same but for the Real Madrid side it was not the same because it was meant to be a symbol of hope for them, while Liverpool didn't have much feeling about it based on the fact that they trust themselves they will never lose the match, however do you think the match would have taking another dimension if Vinicius Jr was around? Because to me I believe they would have made the game 2:2 because it was not only the Liverpool boys that had those kind of opportunities of scoring Real Madrid also has, so I believe Vinicius would have done something about it if he was there, however Getafe is there next opponent on the Spanish La Liga and I don't think Vinicius will also be there for them unless he recovers before then if not is another trouble for them since every club is pulling them.
