With all the merits that pep guadiola holds to his name, it will be really foolish to actually write them off because Manchester city with the same squad have being deadly and won their dosmetic league but everything doesn't seem to be working for them this time around and that's why the transfer window that's coming up will be very essential for pep guadiola to make some substantial changes and additions to his squad atleast to see the change in tide come the second half of the football season.
Well pep may not really be using the transfer window that much, I'm saying so because looking at pep his problem is much away from players quality or depth of the squad, it all started after he began to suffer series of injuries and then it got to the point the available players couldn't be productive enough as they probably have their psychology affected in all of this, now they are beginning to enter their recovery phase and may most likely get passed it too so it's not the end just yet for them and only a few buys due to injury may actually be necessary else they are still good.

I admit that Manchester city's performance this season is very poor but I also think there's much time for them to turn things around and get on the right path because they are a classy team and has all it takes to get back on their feet. I believe they still stand a good chance of achieving something great this season but it all depends on how fast they can pull themselves out of the snake line and start getting good results, but one thing I cant do is to write them off  because I still believe in the ability of Manchester city players and the coach Pep Gardiola to rise to the occasion once more.
It is clear that Man City performed very badly nowadays. Although there are still many matches left, I think it is difficult for them to win any title this season. They may try to improve their performance, but it looks quite unconvincingly to compete for the title. In EPL, I think they only can target to finish in the UCL zone. Meanwhile in UCL, they may not target to play in the final. Man City may only can reach the semi-final round if their performance has no change in the second half of the season. Even I'm a bit worried that Man City failed to reach the knock-out phase. Well, it depends on Guardiola whether he can improve their tactics and the mentality of the players.

Having Mbappe definitely helped PSG with UCL a lot, he is a great player and we are seeing him do great at Real Madrid.

Even a lot of people say that Mbappe is doing badly at Real Madrid, I disagree and I think he is doing fine, he is not the only star of that team so he will of course have a lower statistic compared to his time at PSG, whereas we are seeing PSG not have that star anymore which is causing them to have a bad result, and I can see why that would mean something different, that's the most important part, I can see why that's a big deal. I know that a lot of people are looking into this current situation like PSG is doomed, but I also think that they have enough finances to comeback from this eventually and be great again.
Real Madrid snatch one of the best players from PSG and they're doing quite good with the Frenchman. Mbappe is gradually fitting in and have been extremely one of the best players. Kylian Mbappe was the best player in PSG, his presence was worth it for the club following their imperative achievements over these past years. It's been one of huge loss for the club if you ask me. PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi will gave his very best to see the club flying above other elite oppositions but I think his best is not good enough. There have been several spots that have paved part to the descending form of the club. Can they ever recover the loss of Leo Messi, Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe? Paris Saint-Germain triggered the sell clause of most of their outstanding players and we've seen how is everything going with the club.

There are only two more matches left and I might be a little worried about PSG who will be eliminated in this round, being in 25th position still doesn't seem to be able to guarantee PSG to finish in the top 24. Because after all, for the next two matches PSG have to play against Manchester City and against Stuttgart and basically, Manchester City will also still do their best  to really secure their position to still be able to finish in the top 24. Likewise about Stuttgart, although this team is not a team that is considered to finish in the top 24 but after all, the reality is that Stuttgart currently has the same points as PSG with 7 points.

With these situations and conditions, of course they will still do their best to maximize the chances they still have, so of course it will not be easy for them to really succeed in getting three points. Even though they win  and at the same time the teams above them also win, of course their position will remain like that.

Actually, it is quite strange to see these two big teams competing for seats or tickets to enter the play-off round so they can qualify for the next stage. These two teams should be competing for the top position but what happened this season was completely unexpected. Manchester City and PSG are both in a very difficult position. And these two teams really need full points in this match to hopefully make their position safer. Even though PSG actually doesn't guarantee that their position will be safe. But hope will come if they can win this match.
Yes, I agree, this is the most unexpected confrontation for "survival" in the group stage of the Champions League. Maybe I could believe that PSG would get into such a situation, because they initially had problems with forwards, and several accidents could have led to this, but what is happening with City is still difficult for me to understand. And now these teams must decide who is more worthy to continue playing in the Champions League, it is really strange.
Definitely a shocking situation without a doubt, nobody ever assumed to see Manchester City and Real Madrid be this down on the standings, and PSG even out of top 24 as well. Those three teams there is a shocking thing to see and this new method of UCL standings and so forth ends up being something that is giving us unexpected results, which is making UCL even more entertaining.

It was clear that we got very bored of the old method, the whole four team group stages were boring and it was almost always the same results, just the top teams going up in most cases, with this type of situation we are dealing with a much better result and we are seeing a lot better entertainment in world of football. Betting is much harder this way though, nobody expected these results.

Manchester City's performance this season is very bad in all competitions, they have wasted many opportunities in the 11 matches that have been played. Manchester City's performance continues to decline on the front lines, making them weak in matches even though the opponents are not up to par.
I doubt Manchester City will qualify next year in the League Champions because it looks very difficult for City to win the match, what do friends think of City's future in the Champions League?

Usually Man City is very easy to create a performance turnaround point, but currently, Pep Guardiola seems to have lost his touch. However, I agree that, Man City still has many opportunities to rise in the future, although we know it is not an easy job. Pep Guardiola will certainly try to secure the remaining opportunities, and find a solution to break the bad trend that is happening. If the injured players can return soon, it is likely that Man City will be able to rise faster.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola admitted that he could be fired if Man City continues to lose, it would be very painful if that really happened. Pep Guardiola current mission is to lead Man City to qualify for the last 16, even though they have to go through the play-offs. In the Premier League, I still believe Man City will be able to finish in the top four of the standings, while to defend the trophy, that is a little impossible.

Rodri return can't guarantee anything as a playmaker. I mean what Manchester need right now is to restore the confidence of the players on the pitch and Pep Guardiola is not providing that. There are still many factors why Manchester City lost their best game, including external factors that are still running until now. From all those defeats I saw the Manchester City players lose the passion to play.

Right, there is no guarantee that Rodri's return will be able to bring City back to the top of its game. I agree with what you said, several factors are the cause of the decline in performance of Manchester City players. and Pep is still adamant about rotating some of his players, even though he can play his best squad even without Rodri. btw, this is only based on my assumptions and observations. besides that, as you said, City seems to have lost their passion to play and even win matches, they have experienced a series of defeats in several matches and also in this competition. now, the question is whether Pep will fight for his team to qualify for the next phase. this is interesting because they are struggling and need a strong spirit to restore their passion for playing. in the 7th session they will visit PSG's headquarters, both teams need a win. interestingly, this match brings together two former coaches who once led Barcelona to become champions.

Before thinking about the next Champions League, they should decide something about the current tournament, because they may not even make it to the playoffs of this Champions League, they are only one point away from 25th place and their next match will be against PSG, if nothing changes and City do not improve their game, then they may well lose this match and then everything will be decided for them in the last match against Brugge.
The next two matches will determine the journey of Man City and PSG in the Champions League because they are both in an unsafe position and they will definitely fight hard in their meeting later to compete for 3 points, Man City is in poor form and the mentality of its players is not good I think PSG will take advantage of this opportunity to steal points from Manchester City but I am also not happy if Man City does not advance to the next round.

A lot of clubs Might not make it to the next champions league. This is a normal scenario that always occur when the season is about to kick off. Because you don't expect every club to be able to maintain that consistency they have been coming with in the previous season when you cross the capacity in football it is actually dynamic. It's changes from good to bad or bad to worse. That is why it is always very important to always take notes off most of your default when this season is I'm going, but the coaches are always focus about winning that concentrating on the default.

The game between psg and Manchester city is going to be tough because they are both fighting for the same faith so there is going to be battle between the to clubs and they will do everything possible especially to want to mine they don't want to put there self in any difficult position every match is important for them, they have exusted all there opportunity so all other games are now very important, so psg also will want to play a winning game also a tough game is.

Yes, Manchester City still have plenty of time to up their game. With just over a month left before the Champions League match against PSG, this is a golden opportunity for City to evaluate and better their formation.

Pep Guardiola will concentrate most on tactics and player rotation, as well as restoring the few players who may be too fatigued following a tight schedule. An opportune moment, especially now that even PSG is not in the best condition and greatly battling to seal a place in the last 24. Good use of such an opportunity and they have a very high probability of coming back to their winning ways and looking that much more convincing in domestic and European competitions.

It will be a big test for City against PSG, but with the quality and depth of squad they have, then they still have a great chance of securing a positive result.

How I wish Rodri can come back from injury and let's confirm if really he is the engine room, or City is bound to face difficulties during this period. I don't see City having the quality to win PSG, but they can still surprise us.
I want to point out that Rodri is not only the engine room player of Manchester City. There are other engine room players like Kelvin De Bruyne, Haaland, Silva, and Foden, in the squad, yet Manchester City is still losing their matches. Manchester City's problem is not about Rodri's injury. The players of Manchester City are exhausted, they need some rest rather than playing two different matches(PL and UEFA) without much time for one to prepare themselves

Paris Saint-Germain must definitely beat Manchester City to be among the top 24 teams. Manchester City is in a very bad time. It is possible for Paris Saint-Germain to beat them when they are in such a bad graph. If Paris Saint-Germain beats them, Manchester City could even be pushed out of the top 24. We will see which surprise teams will remain in the top 24 after eight matches.

In La Liga it hasn't been as relevant as Barcelona has been so weak, too. I think one more win in the Champions League lets them securely advance into the next round, playoffs. The game against Stade Brest is a risk as it may seem easier than it is while I am convinced that they are going to win their game against Salzburg.

Real Madrid has been coming back from lows in the Champions League in the past and since there is no team that is playing consistently at the maximum level except for Liverpool, I still think that Real Madrid is a favorite. They are not THE favorite of course as their game is by far not good enough, but see how Barcelona is playing and even Bayern had their problems, everything is still possible.

apparently all the teams have enormous problems with stability and consistency of results, even the team that seemed unsinkable to us like Real Madrid has proven to have big problems at the moment
First of all, the enormous number of injured players, this is certainly the biggest and worst problem.

Manchester City has lost 2 games, draw 2 games and win 2 games, if they can win 1 game and draw the remaining one, they have high chance of qualifying for play off but how are they going to succeed with the way they are performing recently, there is no improvements, there is no development and all their strategies are now at the edge. Unless they pivoted if they get their, the result will still remain the same as long as they remain this way.

PSG is fair, they might have not been doing well here in the Champions League but they are doing better in their domestic league with no losses but has lost 3 matches already in the Champions League. They are better than Manchester City, since their next match is going to be in Paris, they are going to dominate that game for sure, they will leave Manchester City to push to the play off place in the table.

I would say that both teams have equal chances of winning this match. At the beginning of the season, I considered Manchester City as the favorite. However, Manchester City has been losing badly recently. Manchester City's performance in both the Champions League and the Premier League is very weak. Especially in the last match against Manchester United, we saw a strange performance from City. Manchester City conceded two goals in the last 2 minutes. PSG is playing very well with the help of Luis Enrique. PSG also performed well in the last match of the Champions League and won by a large margin. So I think PSG players will be able to perform well against City.

The frontline and backline position of Manchester City has been in a declining mood for the past few months, which has affected them in the fight for the Champions League and Premier League trophy.
Currently, they are being considered a weak team that can be kicked out of the Champions League and possibly kicked out as the Premier League title race contender. However, there seems to be hope for them by next season, not this season anyway, for them to continue with the fight for the Premier League and Champions League trophy contestants
I also doubt Man city for this season. But I hope they can at least qualify for the next stage even though they have to go through the play-offs first. And actually this week Man City really faced a tough challenge. because they have to collect full points so they can stay in the play-off zone. But it will be a little difficult with their current condition considering that the team they will face is also a strong team, namely PSG.

Luckily, PSG also experienced a series of poor results in the UCL. So I will not favor anyone in this match. Because for me these two teams make me doubt.
I'm not sure Manchester City are strong contenders for the Champions League trophy anymore. Even Pep Guardiola contract extension and Rodri return to the first team squad are no guarantees of finishing the Champions League season with a trophy. Things have changed and Pep Guardiola can't stay in his prime forever. The blows that continue to hit Manchester City are not over yet. If PSG want to join the party like the other teams then their job is to beat Manchester City.
Maybe, City will finish this season without any trophy and that isn't something new. City is confused and don't know where their problem lies. How I wish Rodri can come back from injury and let's confirm if really he is the engine room, or City is bound to face difficulties during this period. I don't see City having the quality to win PSG, but they can still surprise us.
The only surprise I have learned about Manchester City recently is for them to lose their match. No other surprise I have seen them given in their last 11 matches.

It will be hard for anyone to give it all for Manchester City to win against PSG. What most of us would do, is to stay clear of adding Manchester City vs PSG game to their bet because the match is unpredictable, not ascertain about the team that wins the match .

I want to point out that Rodri is not only the engine room player of Manchester City. Can we attribute City's decline in performance to their key players fading off. The likes of K. De bruyne,  B. Silva and  Gûondogan. This players have been so consistent and productive in previous seasons but I am having this intuition they can no longer keep up with the competition ahead. K. De Bruyne is 33, Gûandogan is 34, B.silva is 30. My analysis is simple matching the age of this City stars to that of the young energy competing for the title as them will make their possibility slimmer.

Fof PSG I just feel the need better strikers if the stand any chance to make an impression in the Champions league. PSG this season has no chance to compete. I believe they won't make it to the next round this should be the same story for city because the competition from Rsenal standing position to the 20th club standing are having fierce competition
