Let's say he has cracked the algorithmic code for the lottery. Now do you think all people can do that? Of course most gamblers depend on luck and not on cracking codes just to win.

I think exploiting the gambling system was too hard to do as well, but for that 12 times lucky wins I think it was so amazing to do since lottery was having small chances of winning. Even though we're smart enough to play lottery, it's not guaranteed 100% wins because you don't need skills to play for it; and you needed to do was bet according to your preferred number choices.

Algorithm you say? Come on that's ridiculous. You don't just guess a lottery by being a mathematics guru and hit it 12 times. Am not disputing the fact that he might have won for that ridiculous amount of time but saying maybe just maybe there is something more to it than just knowing mathematics

Well, most lotteries are actually completely random nowadays, drawn from balls in brownian motion on live TV after ticket sales have been closed.

Such methods can no longer before used to predict the outcome of the lottery. Props to that guy though, anything that uses algorithms to generate results is still liable to be cracked.

Even though but still I find it hard to get the algorithm of lottery since it has lots of combination to consider,but since OP mentioned that the man is genius (or maybe a Gifted as well 😅) so he come to get the right combination not once but 12 times

If now someone can master that, of course he must be rich by just doing a lottery or gambling. Unfortunately one such person has been jailed as he said. If you want to be like Stefan Mandel there are 2 points that @OP says that we must be the type of people in mathematics and solve algorithms. With these two things can we do as Stefan Mandel did? Even with the computerized system, I think there is a lot possibily digit would happened. or maybe he put money on many several possibily? and also possible if the lottery system is updated. and the hash complexity of the old ones replaced may be a challenge. but if he is a genius and got prisoned just because he can do that it is not right. someone like him must be given a special place.

What is he in for after he won in many countries? If I won 12 times, I'd be buying all the cops trying to chain me.

The government must be very worried about their money given away to someone who had been finding ways to outsmart their lottery system. Winning 2 times is already crazy, if I were him I would have passed a year or two before trying to win another. Lucky Devil.

Everyone can't be Stefan, these are very exceptional people who have got mathematical skills that a common human doesn't possess. As most of the users here mentioned it isn't luck, the skills have got him such a big number of wins out of lottery which none could've got till date around the world. To study the script he could've trained himself without which it isn't an easy task.

He won 14 times in a row,but in a 30-year period,which is weird.
If he really won that much,there must be some pattern followed by the lottery,which means that the lottery wasn't 100% fair and 100% based on luck.This guy simply revealed how the lottery was cheating the ordinary people and he exploited a crack in the lottery system.

He probably made a good algorithm to decrease the possibilities of not winning, but he took a big risk of getting money from his relatives to by all those lottery tickets.
In my opinion, he was lucky enough to win the price from the first attempt, otherwise he would be in very difficult position and in high debt as well.

So basically he placed money on every single combination of numbers making sure that once he won the winnings would cover all his expenses.
Of course he had help from several investors who financed his endeavors. An intelligent man who saw an opportunity and made profit from it. Unfortunately he went too far and ended up in prison.

You would definitely hit up the number but its too hassle for a work plus needing sufficient fund for that kind of system.It isnt really a lucky thing but this one
