+ 1. Manny is gonna be a huge underdog to The Truth. As to Manny vs. Mayweather, well, boxing is sports entertainment. A Mayweather bout is not entertainment. It is dead boring.
I can't seem to agree more. Ever since Mayther started making into pedestal. All his fights that I have seen are pretty boring. Yup if you are an avid boxing fan you will easily understand that he is indeed a great boxer. However it is still undeniable that a real fighter who does not just box but who's willing to face his opponent in front of another are the real champions. That is why Pacman is very famous and other fighters like him

Of course, it is very difficult to predict the results of the battle now, because really great fighters will enter the ring.  Even bookmakers today are in difficulty to determine the favorite, because the odds ratio for opponents is only 1.91.

Thurman is clearly the favorite, but bookmakers have changed the odds in order to adjust the crazy amounts of bets being waged in favor of Manny Pacquiao. In normal circumstances, Keith Thurman should win the fight handsomely. The only way he can lose is if he takes Manny too lightly, or become too overconfident and ignore the basics.

Going back to Manny, I saw on local TV that he is training together with his son Jimuel.

So he is training his son to follow his foot step? I think that's a lot of pressure for the son as his father will soon become a hall of famer and a legend.

Good luck to him -  Grin

I'm not sure though, and I don't know if Jimuel has the tools to be as great as his father. Probably the young Pacquiao is out there to give support to his pop no matter out.

Let Thurman run his mouth, it's just a couple of days from now and we will see if he can back it up.

If pacman sill win on this fight he might pursue fighting Spence which is also a hard to beat fighter. What are your thoughts?

I would really love that fight and I think Manny will be a sure underdog of this fight, this one is sure better than a rematch with Mayweather.

+ 1. Manny is gonna be a huge underdog to The Truth. As to Manny vs. Mayweather, well, boxing is sports entertainment. A Mayweather bout is not entertainment. It is dead boring.

And I love to still put my bet on him despite him being an underdog as he still has the experience in boxing, so it's gonna be another interesting fight to watch. I expecting an odds like 3+ for Manny and that is a value for me, one more interesting fact is that spence is also a southpaw.

I'm afraid I'll be putting my money on the other side of the fence if this fight will happen. The experience of this legend is really vast but if the body cannot precisely execute what is in the mind, it is surely going to be a mess. The 29-year old Spence might finish his career. To be fair though, I don't think the killer left of Manny is dead. It may be old but still as deadly.

Is this Error Spence Jr. guys?

If it's him, I just checked his professional record and damn, this kid has 0 losses. It made me interested to check the past fights on how this kid fight, I think this would be a good fight but I can't tell now on how good it will. I have to watch more of his fights.

I initially thought that Manny Pacquiao doesn't want any of his son to follow in his footsteps, specially inside the boxing ring. So I'm surprised that he allowed his son to go side by side with him in his training regimen.
It's just training but i doubt that Jimuel will turn pro as Jinky (Manny's wife) is against the idea of Jimuel boxing. For me it's just television exposure as Jimuel is into showbiz in the Philippines.

That's what my initial thought too. Jinky is very protective that's why I was surprised to him training and then some video of him fighting. Jinky knows Manny's path to boxing greatness is not that easy that's why she doesn't want any of his boys to turn into boxing. But being a actor in the Philippines? another disastrous career.  Grin

@darklus123 - I think that was the plan after all, chase big money fights, including Spence or even Terrence Crawford. So let's see if Manny's body can hold up and still go with this young boxers right now.

I think boxing nowadays is more on a business venture than the game itself.  It is always a win-win in both sides, and although I am truly amazed on Manny’s skills in boxing; he will eventually meet a true opponent wherein people can really gamble their money for what is worth and not just for fame. And good luck to both of them, hopefully it wouldn’t be a unanimous decision again (just saying though, no pun intended).

Well , I just want to consider some thoughts. Will Pacman be resigning after his fight with Thurman if he loses this one?.

I think no, but if we are going to talk about him fighting in Vegas again might be a no answer.

Also , according to forbes, just to OT a little bit.  If pacman sill win on this fight he might pursue fighting Spence which is also a hard to beat fighter. What are your thoughts?

If he loses by a knockout or gets serious beating  it's time for him to hang his gloves, boxers like Pacquiao must have a confirmation that he doesn't have it anymore, just like what happens to all great fighters like Ali and Dela Hoya if he loses by a decision he will still come back to fight and of course if he wins this fight, his saga continues.

There could be a lot of pressures, just look at Chavez Jr, he did try to be like his father. In the beginning he was very successful, however, when they step up on opposition, they see the Chavez Jr doesn't have the skills that his father has. I'm not saying that Jimuel will not be great, but it's going to be difficult to follow what is father did to boxing. So let's see, and I'm sure many will follow this kid's career.

Yeah I heard that thought came from manny pacquiao he don't like one of his son to enter in boxing career, it might be people chamge and manny can't stop their son to follow their footprints in boxing. It surprise if jemuel  show at their father training it's can for the yung pacquiao to get more strategy how to become great boxer.

Surprised me too. I thought that Jimuel just joining to his father practice for the support and motivation that he can give to his father.

I hope there’s more a lot of videos will shown up that the “Living Legend (AKA Manny Pacquiao)” teaching his son and letting him to continue his journey if somehow manny will retire.

Looks like he has some pop as well, but I'm not sure if he can follow what his Legendary dad did in his prime.

He has have something too. Yet, not quite sure from what manny did before for his first fight being professional boxer.

I also saw that and it seems his son is also into boxing. I just hope he can be as good if not better than his father so that the legacy will continue.

So he is training his son to follow his foot step? I think that's a lot of pressure for the son as his father will soon become a hall of famer and a legend.

It is natural to have some pressure because of what his father achieved. But what I heard is that it is his son's choice to do boxing. Training will come naturally for him and with Manny's guidance, he can be a top-notch boxer soon.
