I was wondering if there is any list of the members with self-replenishing SM, or if any of you know some of them.
Why is it now so hard to get merit, still hoping to get merit someday because I work so hard in my posting..hoping to get merit ...

Still so many desperate noobs plaguing the forum sniffing around for Merit 
It's summer people / at least in Europe/ so guess what, the MS a.k.a Merit sources are sunbathing somewhere on the beach with a fresh, cold cocktail and giving 0 fucks for all the complaints here. Well, I am not a MS but planning to do the same this weekend and suggest you do it too /if it's summer around you of course/.

1) The merit sources have become stricter on their own rules to give sMerits away.
2) The quality of threads in the forum have kept not increasing or decreasing recently.

In my opinion.
Some merit sources are afk, they have a life and they don't have time to be a source.
On last 3 weels we had 4 new sources this boosted up the graph on last 2 weeks.
Already down again

I think it's more a reason number 2) Eventually all go to those how been before merit system. People make a many low quality posts in hoping to get a merit

Who are those "merit sources" and is it possible to become one of them? That is not the first time I hear about sources, but I nevr got any concrete information about them and terms of getting merits from those sources. Quote

The Alexa traffic chart mirrors the price of btc/altcoin, and that strikes me as a much more likely correlation than the introduction of merit.

Who are those "merit sources" and is it possible to become one of them? That is not the first time I hear about sources, but I nevr got any concrete information about them and terms of getting merits from those sources.
It is up to them if they want to identify themselves or not. How to become a Merit source is described in the opening post of this thread.

However, based on the analysis of @coinlocket, I guess merit sources have not used all their sMerits.Of course, there are several reasons:
1) There are not enough merit-deserved threads. Spammers have kept spamming the forum in alt child boards, etc. Cheaters have still earned money from their spamming threads. These sort of low-quality users contributed to the un-used sMerits of merit sources.
2) Merit sources might be busy some day, at some extents, hence they might not deliver all their sMerits away.
Anyway, it's good to know that total numbers of merit sources in the forum increased.

Then read and find out what you need to do, and above all, what you shouldn't do. All this has been written plenty of times on this forum, so if you really want it bad it's just a question of being a bit clever and researching here. Personal skills also play a role, but doing your reseach first is a must.
